Are there any RPGs where a fists/unarmed build is fun and viable?
All I wanna do is punch people in the face. Swords are lame and guns are wack.

why does it have to be an RPG?
There are a million action games I could play. I want to level up my fists. I want to grow and punch stronger and stronger enemies, eventually possibly punching God Himself off His throne.
Uhhhh, bro...it's called the entire Yakuza series.
Also i want Noi to smother me with her massive booba
God hand
God of War 2018 lets you "level up (your) fists".
Dark Souls 2.
Nioh 2
fall out 4 can problably be beaten with bare fists but def with brass knuckles.
Dark souls 2 but it's not very fun to play with fists only. Nioh 2 doesn't really have unarmed as you fight with a claw weapon, but it's lots of punching, kicking and more martial arts type fighting.
god I really want a dorohedoro mask
way of the samurai 4
God Hand is literally the only game you ever want about "beating the shit out of people".
Also Nikaido is better.
earlier TES games had unarmed combat leveling, skyrim not so much
FO games also have shit like powerfists, etc
Powerstanced fist is one of the best DaS2 builds due to the game balance being skewed in favor of bludgeoning damage
there's tons of rpgs with unarmed combat.
sex
idc post more Noi
It's a bit of a stretch, but the Boxer in this browser game is fun as hell to use

Dorohedoro has such an underwhelming ending
Good series but I expected better after such a great first half
Anyways, I like fisting in Oblivion
underrail
you can go full boxer and dance around opponents while attacking a million times per turn
or you can go psi monk and project your fists
Kenshi
leveling a martial artist in a solo run is incredibly fun
It's 10/10 up until last 4 chapters. It shits the bed then and drags on too much on parts that aren't that good.
I am working on it, but my family got into a little financial trouble, so it is probably postponed. Really wanted to release the demo by Jan 1, but I only get to make one first impression, and the placeholder assets are not going to make the impressions I am looking to make.
Early Final Fantasy.
I think it starts get bad before that.
Hole-kun simply isn't an enjoyable villain. Specially after En being such a kino character.
And then there is the underutilized and boring time travel.
Yes
plenty of JRPGs have monk/martial artist characters
Okay then Brock Samson. Try Dragon Quest.
[chair clattering]
Ah so thats her name!
I've been wondering who was she!
ending to the manga kinda sucked
underrail has fists, fist weapons, and a literal "power fist."
also has special psionics for boosting unarmed damage for monk play.
