your honest opinion on persona 5?
Your honest opinion on persona 5?
neet feet
Manages to improve on every aspect of 3 and 4 and still be not as good as either.
Futaba is an example of everything wrong with Persona. Blatant anime waifubait that doesn't even resemble a real person.
It doesn't improve on the music, characters, or story.
I want to marry Futaba.
Ok VN with shitty Pokémon game ducktaped to it
Other way around. The combat is good, the VN parts are shit.
Based
I'll agree with you on Character and Story but Music is debatable. P5's OST is rocking as hell.
P3 music is way better

Catastrophic disappointment. This game taught me to be extremely cautious with my hype.
How to get a futaba girlfriend?
i'd rather have her neet feet on my face desu
god no
Shit game, but I like the porn
the fuck why was my post deleted
Sex with Ann, Haru, Makoto, and Futaba.
I think it's great, and Royal is one of my favorite MegaTen games.
too derivative of previous games, bad story, great aesthetic
Raid in wow, got one because she liked my voice, even though there is nothing good about it
It was my first Persona game (and SMT game). Knew next to nothing about it or the series, only played because a friend wanted to lend it to me. The palaces get pretty repetitive. The cutscenes last an eternity. You'll beat a Palace and then have to sit through an hour of cutscenes before you can meaningfully play the game. Social links not having a bearing on how the main party acts in the story is bad in any game something like this is in. Music was pretty good. I'm autistic for synthesis, so that aspect was fucking AWESOME. Overall, I would probably give P5 a 6/10. I don't feel the need to purchase Royal or play through the game again, once was easily enough.
I THINK PERSONA 5 SUCKS
It’s got SOUL and style, which actually carries it a lot. Everything moves. I admire the art more than anything. The underlying game is alright.
Royal is what this game should have been from the start. Redeemed it for those who didn't like the vanilla version for most people.
You'd probably like the mainline SMT games. They have very little emphasis on story and cutscenes, so all of the focus goes into the gameplay and party customization.
Yeah I went into Royal blind and loved it. I didn't know what all the changes were until after I beat it, and I can't imagine playing through the base game.
Though overall the story gets kind of stupid, I'm playing a 200-hr anime game so I try not to take it too seriously.
Alright game if you're a masochist.
I wouldn't say they have little focus on the story outside of a few of them. They definitely have less story-focus than your average JRPG, but Strange Journey still has a story-heavy beginning and fairly regular story segments throughout, SMT2 has a prominent enough story, IV and IV:A's stories are emphasised enough as well. None of these games are as story heavy as a Persona game, but I wouldn't go as far as to say they have very little emphasis on story. Only Nocturne and maybe SMT1 really feel like that to me.
>I’m not sure if you know this yet based on having watched the story, but [current antagonist] is a really bad dude!
>We have to stop him at all costs or he will continue to [do thing]
>By the way, Joker, just in case you still didn’t get it, I’ll be checking in with you every day for the next two weeks to make sure you know that [antagonist] is the antagonist. Can we infiltrate the palace yet?
I have never before played a game with so much repeated dialog / content. Are fans of the series actually this dense that information needs to be repeated to them several times before sinking in?
Lala Chan is best girl tho
I wrote a long ass reply but accidentally refreshed, fuck. Let's try this again. With these anime games I really get decieved by the art and soundtrack often. I wouldn't say it's a bad game, it's decent at best. It has a bad story and shitty anime dialogue. Turn based combat feels too repetitive, but the Madarame boss fight was good, it required a lot of thinking. That's it, overall I'd say playable but the shit story really made me drop the game.
Fun gameplay mediocre everything else.
When I first played the game I found this annoying, but I found it bothered me less when I played Royal. I don't think they cut it down at all, I suppose it just being text messages and them often having some character to them rather than being generic made me okay with it. The game still has an issue with repetitive dialogue, but I never found it annoying when it came to things like being reminded of the Palace deadline. The only point where I found the amount of exposition really annoying is in the bit between Sae's and Shido's Palace, which also feature what I would consider the worst scene in the game with Akechi and Shido laying out the plot up to that point from their perspective for no reason at all except so that the player could hear things from their perspective, even though nothing they say in that scene is news to you and you already know what they've been doing in the story up to that point by the time you get to that scene.
>Beat Palace first day it's available
>An entire month of "I SURE HOPE HE HAS A CHANGE OF HEART"
Got under my skin a lot.
>Ugh! Shithead adults are the worst!
>We have to stop shitty adults who only care about themselves!
>Pieces of shit! They only get away with screwing people over because they’re the ones in charge!
It does get tiring the 18th time you hear this line out of Ryuji or anyone else who says some variation on the exact same thing.
Made me feel like i had friends but the story is pretty generic and falls apart after kamoshida's palace. The gameplay was pretty good but i hated being locked from it because of a fucking cat told me to sleep.
Very underwhelming. Should have stayed the original vision of being a dude traveling the world and not Hashino's personal venting project towards the jap government.
That’s fair, the cell phone conversations were the least egregious example, but seemed to be the most common. It didn’t stop me from enjoying the game, but I did find it cloying after a certain point. Are the other games in the series like this as well? I played about 2 hours of P4 when it first came out and it wasn’t for me back then, but I figured I’d give it another shake once I complete Royal tonight
It was fine but half of the cast was hit or miss for me. Specially that cunt futaba
