>has a level editor + workshop support
>has hundreds of campaigns, many of them are really good and you can import your own music and assets
>can play as jacket with all his masks as well as biker
>new fan made level editor is being developed which adds more features and is more user friendly
Why did you stop playing this game?

I didn't.
b8sed
not as good as the first game but its pleb filter.
Any idea when said fanmade editor is coming out?
true but the richter and son levels are HM1 quality.
dannyjudas.itch.io
the dudes working on this are working on it, if i had to guess it's releasing alongside it
Large open levels make pure melee runs nigh if not outright impossible.
because the story had that shitty beard arc, they should have stick with the Fans and the miami mutilator
Only memorable aspect about it was that Roller Mobster level. Everything else was DEEPEST LORE shit with a shitty confusing story that didn't know what it wanted to do
>t. Pardo
Really? When I checked worshop I only saw few interesting maps
they finally released the workshop shit + level editor? when the fuck did that happen, I love HLM2
You should filter out the single maps and look into the campaigns.
As long as autistic russians exist there will always be stuff to play, they fucking love this game
Corey sex bro
>people are making full on campaigns now
unbelievably based, I've been ignoring this game for way to long
This dude is working on a standalone mod to HM2 which aims to be the closest thing to an HM3 youtube.com
But user I just resumed playing. I'm currently doing a campaign that uses the map layout and enemy placement from the original Doom. I'm surprised how well it works.
link nigga?
what are some recommended campaigns?
Midnight Animal
Play the Miami Falls custom campaign by danny judas, it's pure ludo and honestly I liked it better than the actual game
>muh murder waifu sim!!!
are all of these on workshop because holy shit, I need this immediately, is there custom music too or is it just scenarios/spirtes/maps?
I haven't actually played any of the custom level stuff myself, but it seems like a hell of a time
>garfield campaign
custom music, scripted events, new sprites/scenarios/maps
Most of them are on workshop as far as I know. But some of the more complex ones require downloading assets from third party websites and manually placing them into the game folder, should be simple enough if you're already experienced with modding from other games. Miami falls is pure ludo, pig fingers is another good one, so is hunter:snowfall. The game has some pretty incredible fanmade content and its a shame that basically no one knows about it
>step into new area
>immediately get shot by an enemy off screen
thank you based user, time to re-ignite my love for HLM2
damn, good thing the game immediately places you at the start of the room with minimal progress loss so you can learn from your mistakes and formulate a plan.
hm2 is better than 1 in every single way and people that got filtered by the writer's levels missed out on the best levels in the game
If you havent full combo'd Dead Ahead on hard then you aren't good at hotline miami
