Once you finish the main story and side jobs, there is nothing to do. The most beautiful, detailed, atmospheric city ever made and there is nothing to do.

>after i did everything there is nothing to do
STOP THE PRESSES

the random police and gang events still respawn, so there's that. But yeah it's boring, no real postgame fun.

Even GTA SA had side activities and some random shit happening in the world, this isn't an excuse.

You can have tons of fun on GTA V or skyrim without doing any missions.
You can't do that here because the open world systems are broken or don't exist.

>The most beautiful, detailed, atmospheric city ever made and there is nothing to do.
And the supposed "best ending" shits on said beauty.

Do people really play Skyrim like a sandbox game?

Does katana combat get any more interesting than spam left click? I think I wasted my perk points if it doesnt

>
Not me at least. I think Bethesda strike a nice balance of mission play, but with a lot of emergence and environmental (sometimes buggy/unintentional) storytelling that is sandboxy. But not straight one way or the other.

Gameplay doesn't improve, but it's op as hell. And the AI is too stupid to fight back.

unfortunately katana combat is the most interesting the game ever gets because with guns you have zero risk of dying since the enemy AI is stupid. At least katana/mantis blades force you to tank some damage before your heal procs

the most satisfying (not saying much) playstyle is netrunning and hacking enemies

haha, I just said the same thing for katana combat.

Lets just agree that AI is stupid.

yeah that it is

its an "open world" game op, you gotta make your own fun. thats what you faggots get still playing this fucking meme of a genre. Open world games are almost always shit

HOW CAN THERE BE NO CASINO OR GAMBLING IN NIGHT FUCKING CITY? WTF WERE CDPR THINKING

Cyberpunk has that too. Play the game.

>The most beautiful, detailed, atmospheric city ever made
lol

reminder that the game has no mini games whatsoever, nada

WHERE ARE MY SHITTY MINIGAMES REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Pathetic.

Theres racing and range competitions lol. You havent played the game.

pretty sure those are only possible if you haven't cleared the side quests for them

Even the vendors and shops tell you to fuck off. That's not "open world".

>lol
Yes. Night city is the most detailed, varied, and best looking city ever made in Vidya. From an aesthetics/graphics standpoint, but not from a system standpoint. The attention to detail is insane.

Wrong, done them multiple times.

>Once you beat the game and do everything, there is nothing left to do.

Are you okay user? You took your meds today right?

It's a damn shame too. Definitely pretty, but I can't do any more with the city more than, say, GTA 3.

Putting aside bugs, glitches and performance, there is a lack of content all round.

>Lifepaths mean next to nothing, sometimes some flavor dialog, rarely a quest path
>Lifepaths themselves are very short and pointless
>Customization is lacking which would be fine but there is no plastic surgery or tattoo parlor or barbers
>NPC AI is next to non-existant, we need more dynamic NPCs on the road and streets
>Some will fight back, others flee to get help or flee entirely, some will try to run you over, others floor it out of there
>Cop AI too
>Random moments where civilians get into a fight or gangs fight each other outside scripted areas
>Some kind of bounty on V system so gangs you fight come after you
>Side activities like dates, hanging out
>Arcades, clubs, BDs, racing, shooting range, dinner
>More side quests that aren't low effort go here, kill this guy/s
>Cyber enhancements that allow us to fully change, maybe not Adam Smasher level but approaching that
>Revamped loot system, give us weapons we can upgrade over the game and grow attached to rather than level 2 green > level 1 blue, discard a weapon you've grown fond of
>Change the armour and clothing system, looks are everything in NC apparently but you look like a tool most times
>Have armour be something you wear over clothes at the cost of street cred and clothing bonuses

>>Lifepaths mean next to nothing, sometimes some flavor dialog, rarely a quest path
>>Lifepaths themselves are very short and pointless
Another damn shame. It pissed me off when I realized my Corpo couldn't revisit Abernathy or Jenkins. In Streetkid, you don't even interact with Pepe or the loanshark again, afaik. I loved these characters and the atmosphere all around them. Nothing wrong with it. But it's all a missed opportunity.

>unfortunately katana combat is the most interesting the game ever gets
Knives are more interesting.
>Bonus to stealth attacks at 20 Cool
>Come with bleeds and poison effects
>Can be flung at an enemy to do a massive burst of silent damage
>Have to actually close the distance to make them work.
>Instead of playing with super special named weapons, you get to enjoy the crafting loop of killing to get cash and EXP, which is then spent on knives and Slaught-o-Matics.
If you aren't building to play as a "Part-time Hitman", you're missing out.

>Cyberpunk locks "The Star" ending to a heterosexual male V romance
>The most hopeful ending, with character dialogues in the credits screen acting like V is actually ok now, even going on jobs with Mitch
Thanks CDPR.

Well Cyberpunk isn't fucking GTA so who cares.

>The most beautiful, detailed, atmospheric city ever made and there is nothing to do.
The absolute state of this board

Either a console fag or/and someone who hasn't played it

They should have made it hub-based.

It's a shitty ending imo. Still not sure why everyone calls it the "best" ending. Panam is boring. Nomads are boring. Ending has you jet out of the city in the end with nomads. Why the fuck would I buy a game based on all of this cyberpunk shit only to become a fucking a redneck in the end? Or worse yet, start off as a redneck Nomad, and then end as a redneck Nomad again.

Marketing was also heavily marketed this direction, where the default V is also a generic boy scout/Shepherd ripoff looking character, and probably a redneck too. Perfect suitor for Panam and for someone wanting to leave the city. Not for someone who actually wants to live and play in it. No wonder why they didn't devote any developer time to making the city more lively. They just want you to leave it and not even wanting to live there.

Most of the quests outside of the main story are also hot garbage.
It's just go "kill cyberpsycho", "go chase delamane car", go "do boxing". It felt so underwhelming compared to Witcher 3.

For my V I think its a perfect ending and juxtapositions Panam's position perfectly. As Corpo V, He was born in the city, went through the rat race, finally got a chance to leave, only to be forced through the same shit hurdles for the same shit corporations after a heist gone wrong. Leaving Night City is the realisation that nothing good ever comes from it, it sucks you in until you cannot leave. Not ONE person is genuinely happy in night city.
No such thing as a best ending honestly, but its the most hopeful one, and comes at a price to both you and Panam. The "you will die" crap and the heist should have come a lot later on honestly.
