that's just the starting map that i came across while playing normally, i could get even i actively seek them out or try a different map. Ark 2 would in no way be playable if the base map from the first game is this awful.

Him being on the project actually gives me a small bit of hope for the game just because the Riddick games were solid and he actually specifically made a point of making sure the team didn't cut corners on those games, but I dunno man, Ark is just such a janky ass game. And a "story based" kinda thing it seems like they are going for us weird, the trailer itself was suuuuper wonky, I dunno, but I am sure most people who actually enjoyed the mess that was the original ark are excited.
