Cyberpunk - 4/10 on console

>gameplay, combat, quest design, RPG elements, story, writing, phyics, sound design all completely the same
>but it's 4/10 shit when the graphics and framerate are bad
What the fuck? Why can't reviewers just admit they hated this trash game? It's clearly not a good game and is all style over substance when it's a fucking 4/10 just because the graphics and framerates are bad on the console versions.

Do reviewers just not even give a shit about anything besides fancy graphics?

kek even fallout 76 didn't get reviews like this

>Do reviewers just not even give a shit about anything besides fancy graphics?
yes

>cyberpunk shilling increasing exponentially in the afternoon due to all the kids getting out of school
You literally have to be a child in order to defend this piece of shit

God it feels great owning a PS4 Pro.

This game is trash, like holy shit

Yeah the shitty graphics ruin the game. Go play vanilla new vegas, and be disappointed in graphics. You'll like it less than with good mods.

>You literally have to be a child in order to defend this piece of shit
sure, but you also have to be a child to use critic reviews as a measuring stick for anything lol

>biggest title launch of the year
>should've been delayed at least until spring 2021
>last gen versions shouldn't exist
>tons of people refunding
I mean the game is a 6/10 at best in its current state even on PC and that's not because of the bugs. CDPR were way too ambitious and talk too much shit that they couldn't deliver on (which isn't a surprise to anyone). However the games only real hook is the story and even that is just OK. The choices I've made so far don't really seem to affect anything and the side missions arent even worth playing because they're all the same shit and even though I was told certain side shit will effect my ending I know they don't. I wanted this game to AT LEAST BE A 7/10 ON LAUNCH but not even that is possible. I'm going to beat the story mode sometime over the next few days then uninstall until the "FreeLC" is out.

Still fucking overrated. Jesus fucking Christ journos.

I have a PS5 and a copy of this game sitting unopened. I'm not touching it until it's actually finished next year. Actually put it up for sale but no one wants the damn thing.

I have a PS5. I'm waiting for a sale while watching everyone fight over reviews.

people that hype “videogames” like No Mans Sky and Cyberpunk are manchildren though

>game is unplayable and they're literally telling you not to buy it
>4/10
ign hasn't changed one bit

Boomer here, when did GTA-style games become known as "RPGs"?

It runs well on a Pro?

>playing multi-plats on console
>buying games on release

I give up on this game, right now it just CTDs every 5 minutes. I just finished All Foods and every time I looked at Royce my game instantly crashed. I though 'Oh once I get out of here things will be back to normal'. Nope. Can't even talk to the next NPC, game crashes during dialogue.

Wake me up when there's a patch.

worse than sonic 06 btw

Stop acting retarded.

if not low metacritic user score would be 8/10

It's literally sonic 06 all over again, it's so fucking bad. Insane.

>CDPR were way too ambitious and talk too much shit that they couldn't deliver on (which isn't a surprise to anyone)
the sad thing is that they actually COULD deliver, because they actually HAVE delivered in the past

if they had literally just made "witcher 3 but it's a scifi shooter instead of a fantasy action adventure" then it would now be sitting at 98+ user score. but cyberpunk is straight up worse than witcher 3 in almost every way except graphics. there's less content, main story is shorter, theres fewer cool characters, less lore and exposition, basically just less of everything.

Remember ages ago when they said Cyberpunk 2077 'would be out when it's finished'? Why did they decide to set a release date for this game? Why didn't they just give it another year and skip the last-gen consoles?

So much disappointment and criticism was born from the constant delays and skepticism this year when it became apparent through gameplay trailers that the game wasn't ready to be played. I don't understand why CDPR decided to rush this.

In terms of graphics, same thing happened to The Witcher 3 but people seem to have forgotten. When that first came out, a lot of people complained that the game didn't look like how it was shown in the trailers beforehand - it had become a downgrade of what people were expecting. What did CDPR do within the first couple of weeks of launch? They apologised and promised they would release patches to improve everything.

This is their work ethic, this is how they cope with modern day game development. They rush it out the door and fix it afterwards. Because they know that in time, people will forgive and forget. And who can blame them? When EA and Ubisoft especially are guilty of this same practice and get away with it, why shouldn't the smaller developers?

It's a shame that a lot of AAA games nowadays work like this, that you can't even have the 'definitive' experience until 6 months down the line when the main game is really finished.

found the console kiddo

Time makes no difference when their issue was incompetence.

>When EA and Ubisoft especially are guilty of this same practice and get away with it, why shouldn't the smaller developers?
CDPR is not a smaller developer.
CP2077 had a budget no less than Valhalla or Andromeda, possibly bigger.

>Why did they decide to set a release date for this game? Why didn't they just give it another year and skip the last-gen consoles?
investors pressuring for timely release probably

people did forgive and forget the witcher 3 downgrade shit because that was literally just graphics, which at the end of the day nobody except journalists and GPU company shills really cares about that much.

cyberpunk has deeper issues though. game is shallow and doesn't have all that much content, and the gameplay itself (driving ,shooting, stealth, enemy AI) is kinda shitty.

I miss the days when there was no internet on consoles, so devs had to release fully playable games because they couldn't patch it afterwards without releasing the same game with a "Complete Edition" or some shit like that on the cover, which only people who didn't have the first release would buy.

I think you mean console players gave it an honest score, whilst pc 'gaymers' continue to cope

Why didn't they just make Witcher 4? they could be the next final fantasy, mortal kombat, or dragon quest, but nah let's shit on all our progress and make a new open world franchise entirely out of our capabilities.

FUCK CYBERPUNK

If it were literally any other non AAA game then this shit would have instantly gotten shit reviews. It's been 5 days and the console metacritic pages are still like this metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/cyberpunk-2077 . Why the FUCK is this bullshit allowed? Just give it the 4/10 that it deserves and move on.

>N-N-NOOOOO WE CAN'T REVIEW THE GAME UNTIL IT IS FIXED BECAUSE WE WERE PAID TO GIVE IT GOOD REVIEWS
