Can we talk about how the game itself actually isn’t very good?

Aside from all the technical problems, the game is fucking boring and I can’t understand all the positive reviews. It’s one of the most lifeless open worlds I’ve seen in quite some time.

It was made for normalfags after they realized they couldnt do what they wanted to do on consoles.

Only the shills and bots are giving it positive reviews. Most people haven't even gotten past the bugs yet to critique it on it's story and gameplay.

It plays like a worse version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution's.

The game has mediocre gameplay and awful amount of bugs.
It's very clear the only people speaking positively are the CDPR defense force over from Reddit and actual paid shills.

It’s a bad game IMO. After something like RDR2, which looked better AND played better AND had an open world that actually had unique and fun shit to do and see, Cyberpunk has no excuse to be as vanilla as it is.

Reminder that retards on this board have trannies living rent free in their heads and thought this won't be a disaster.

Cyberpunk is what would've happened if Valve had tried to release Half Life 3, except valve had the dignity not to do it.

The gameplay is alright and the characters are great.
It is too linear though and the minor quests feel very same-y

Dunno I give up after 7 hours in. The bugs and glitches kill the immersion for me. Also everything just feels kinda pointless and lifeless. The gameplay isn't even very fun. Might give it another try after several patches.

Not a really hardcore fps fan, but gunplay is serviceable and story missions are quite good. I just hate the limited choice more than anything, most of the time it's both options being essentially 'yes'

Cyberpunk is what would've happened if they released Witcher 3 on time.

Should have canned the open world and followed deus ex level design
Also where's all the crinimal shit to do, you can't even rob people.

You know what, fuck CDPR. They release an open world game with the least meat ever in gaming industry. A mile long and wide and an inch deep and with such shitty release the game is irredeemable. Im calling it now, they will do some patch, bug fixes and afterwards they will just wait for dust to settle. The game is 1/4 of what was advertised or promised. Kudos to their marketing team, fucking snake oil sellers.

Cyberpunk? More like Filter Cucks.

unironically, there's just nothing good to say about the game. literally no part of it is good, and i don't mean that in a shitposty way.
>RPG
terrible, no points to stats, no point to options, no points to dialogue
>Open world
bare bones, nothing to do. barely even any minigames.
>Combat
terrible. melee is just a worse skyrim. gunplay is just shitty borderlands.
>Story
lol
>Graphics
even on max, its only "good" its nothing stand out or amazing that brings it so far and above everyone else.

nothing about it is worth calling good. some of it is passable, but nothing worth recommending.

>a high level skill adds 2% damage to your weapon
Wtf is with these absolute shit skills
Is it actually 2% or is there some weird mechanics going on that makes it more impactful?

100% right, the marketing was on point, the video of the cars is the pinpoint moment where they knew they were lying. "Look at these cars, each unique to the player, you can find more then original cars, some classics like..." There is one classic the Porsche in the trailer and each car is random with no unique options fuck CDPR, fuck their marketing, and fuck the gaming industry for not giving a decent cyberpunk rpg in years.

same as Witcher 3 but people still praise that game to no end

In the 16 years of me having a Steam this will be the only time i will write for a refund, thats how pathetic it is.

It's for dumping points, you can pick it multiple times.
Not that you would ever want to do that.
The designer of the game fucked up big time

Im sorry for you user but i relate to your pain.

It plays like someone tried to make an open world Deus Ex and then realized why they DIDN'T make open world Deus Ex games. After which they promptly decided to just shove in some random Borderlands mechanics in there as a distraction

Game is basically Mirror's Edge (Gameplay) getting gangbanged by Grand Theft Auto 4 (Driving), Watch Dogs (Hacking), Fallout 4 (RPG Elements), Sleeping Dogs (Environment) and True Crime NYC (Bugs)

>Skill let you disassemble junk automatically.
Am i playing AAA gacha?

Yeah I mean I got the impression the writing was gonna be atrocious when they showed off the gameplay demo back in 2018

>Mirror's Edge (Gameplay)
nigga, what?

NOT EVEN ONE YES NOT ONE FUCKING MINIGAME

mate i have 200+ games in my library and they are hardly all good games but CP2077, how did CDPR shit the bed so badly is beyond me. The first time and the only time i have clicked on Steam support tab to issue a refund in 16 years.

is Mankind Divided a better game than this? I had my reservations about it since it came out but now seeing how cyberpunk has turned out the grass is starting to look greener

This game is amazing, it has bugs and is nearly unplayable in ps4 and xbox, but definitely an awesome game with an engaging story and beautiful art. It's fun to shit on a popular game, but lying about it just make you look like a seething tranny.

When you're not busy shooting at everything, try running and jumping around, the game is parkour as fuck

No, it's a good game but 2077 is better.

I had incredibly low to almost no expectations for this game, and the lack of content and abundance of bugs really makes this a 4/10 for me

I think the UI is ruining it a lot for me...Its so cluttered and ugly and feels hard to read. It makes this game kind of feel like work and also makes me not want to pick up items

What was the breaking point user. To me was ending of ACT 1 where i realized nothing i did had changed in anyway the outcomes, the path of life (major grip), trying to be sneaky, it all came to the same conclusion.

they tried to pander to the gtgay crowd but gtgays have a superior game tha cant be beat despite being gtgays.
So its like trying to sell a mcdonalds cheeseburger as an authentic roadside diner burger with everything (yeah i used a food analogy fuck you

It will be funny to hear the inevitable laid off/disgruntled quitting employee narrate the chaotic development in the near future.
The designers and directors must have been flip flopping on the general direction through the whole decade. Cyberpunk plays as if there were several entirely different games at an embryonic level badly mixed together.

>try to climb out of an area
>wall is slightly sloped so you can't got up
PARKOUR PARKOUR

Turn off hints

You sound like a faggot.

I am unironically loving this game, and feel sorry for all the people out there who cannot enjoy it due to the social media mind virus aka forced meme that CP = a bad game.

I haven't experienced any real bugs, my fps is fine, the combat is engaging (at least on very hard difficulty), and unlocking perks and upgrading my equipment is enjoyable, meanwhile I have an entire city to explore and parkour through, and seemingly endless content throughout all of it. My only disappointment is that we won't be getting online multiplayer and pvp capabilities until what is likely 2022.

This, everybody is talking about the bugs, but major consequences will come in 2021. They will just not mass fire entire departments to save a little face, but come 2021, shareholders will demand crunch to fix the game so they can release expansions to make cash out of the situation, they will realize it's too much trouble, firing people and burying the IP. Witcher 4 E3 2021 you heard here first

You can already see what the narrative is going to be.
"Muh crunch is what made CP77 bad not the incompetent dev team and shitty management, we need to unionize immediately!".

the "positive" reception was inetivable. you think the psyche of a typical person allows him to admit an opinion he has held and defendent adamantly for years was wrong? they will slowly come to admit the game is ass but not today or even a week from now. in a year or two we'll start hearing the truth.

mankind divided is better, the gameplay is just solid and even if the story is garbage and all the dlc shit was nonsense at the time, the gameplay really held up. Also it's an rpg unlike 2077 which is an on rails action game with simulated "choices"

there is no evidence to suggest that. HL2, the episodes, Portal 2 and HL:A are all technically flawless and generally highly regarded. at worst, HL3 would've been a disappointment. a trainwreck like CP? no.

I had (much) more fun playing bugsnax

>My only disappointment is that we won't be getting online multiplayer and pvp capabilities until what is likely 2022.

every fagtuber says its the best game ever created

The breaking point, not the glitches or bugs since i am probably one of the few hundred people who almost had no issues. It was the false advertisment, 1/4 of the game that was promised being released, no way they can add all that stuff into game because of the shitstorm they are experiencing with consoles and as such game is irredeemable. Everything that was promised will probably be implemented into multiplayer in 2 years but thats not up to debate. Here is the kicker, i have 72h played which is the most ironic thing, thinking shit will change but im like that village idiot who is in relationship with village whore while everyone else rides her like a village donkey. Again, first time in 16 years of being Steam user im demanding a refund on a product i invested 72h into it, thats how pissed off and betrayed i feel.

I think male Vs voice is insufferable
he talks like a guy forcing a guetto accent, terrible and cringe
