never need to be remade, just made available everywhere digitally after so long, exclusivity should be thrown out the window after 10 years.

Some games age better than others. Sometimes a port or remaster is enough, other times more drastic changes are needed to properly modernize it
But since the originals still exist after the creation of a remake I fail to see the issue, just don't play it

Endless remakes and remasters that are just the same game but worse is one of the biggest plagues of vidya today. Ports are fine though, that just lets people play games they couldn't before with only some minor issues most of the time.
