And that’s why you have shit taste
Shadow the Hedgehog is what broke me out of that mindset. I was so incredibly hyped for it and Shadow was one of my favorite fictional characters. I marathoned and beat it more than once the day I got it, and the cognitive dissidence between wanting to like it and it being complete dog shit was strong enough to almost make me feel sick. I still played it for many more hours but it always left a bitter taste in my mount compared to older sonic games and eventually I just accepted it.
Are you not gonna post the rest of that depressing girl comic?
lol I just bought Tenchu Z gonna play that again. I loved it.
Loved that game as a kid but it was probably because I was used to 2D Sonic in the Gems Collection and wanted something more modern.
Playing it recently made me realize how bad it is.
Huh what a coincidence, I just played it recently too faggots.
I remember playing a tenchu game on ps2 and really enjoying it, what happened to the series?
Today, I played a somewhat "shitty" game an user's friend developed. It was fun.
Never was the case for me. 33 years old grew up with SNES.
>Play game.
>Yikes its shit.
>Go back to good game.
>Be a kid
>Get like 3 games a year
>Cherish them all
>Be adult
>Buy a new game every month
>Don't finish any of them
I'm not sure. Doesn't activision and fromsoftware both have parts of it now?
I'm sorry user... but based on that 3x3 you have a terminal case of shit taste. I wish there was something I could do to help you, but it's too far progressed.
>t.
You grew up and realized that games are just computer programs and their worlds are finite. The magic is gone.
>That Alladin on PS1 cover on the left
I miss being a kid with his PS1
user you should try new games even now. You'll be suprised by the amount of hidden gems out there.
Cheers.
They aren't necessarily my favorites but I would unironically stand behind that one with pride.
yeah I remember getting that shit from blockbuster and having the most disappointed feeling in the world.
I even thought the way it looked was off compared to the other games, everything looked like plastic

>pick up a shit game
>absolutely love it
imagine having no standards even as a child
>Some broke faggot child having standards.
Yeah man I'm sure you told your parents to march back to gamestop in a debate.
Get the fuck out of here loser, you couldn't even beat me in a formal debate.
That gif reminded me of something. As a consolation prize I'll admit that the opening video and song for that game were legit, but that's all you'll get out of me.
I remember fucking loving Cool Spot.
Save the validation for your boyfriend.
Except they weren't really shit games
>Shadow the Hedgehog is a real game
I thought it was just someone's OC for years because of that personnel image.
Have you not read the ending? She happy now.
I remember this one Cool Spot game on gamboy that was like the othello board game and it had really intense thinking music on your turn
>check out old ass game
>wonder about something in it
>browse 10+ year old threads on GameFaqs
>tfw
Anyway
I remember my only disappointment in games being that they don't work, or that the genre is crazily disparate from what you'd expect, even though it's otherwise a genre I'd play the fuck out of. Some of my favorite games ever are in genres I wouldn't even consider playing if I was only getting into games now with my current mindset.
Nowadays I feel kind of bad for my parents when they bought me games that ended up being buggy or not working, even though they were pirated copies that cost peanuts and they didn't really care.
>find a game demo on an old magazine disc
>gameplay is dozens of menus
>it's in German
>wring 50+ hours out of it
