The game's not meant for League players tho, most of the LoR players are other card games refugees and new to League's Universe. So this is very likely to be the same case.
I'm sorry but Rising Thunder just looks bad to me. Not talking about the actual gameplay just visually. everything seems kinda clunky and not stylish at all.

A lot of the [old] lore for LoL was pretty cool. There was some neat shit with Malz/Kass having a rivalry; most of the Noxians in general (Swain and Singed both stand out); and everything involving Chogath and other god like beings.
This was of course only back when the League of Legends was an actual thing with summoners using champions to fight proxy wars. I think Orianna was the last time a champion explicitly mentioned the field of champions and then shortly afterward everything was retconned.
I mean duh, the last available build was an alpha build. Considering that its a pretty solid game that already had insanely good charm with the characters and voices

In a world where Seth and Mike Z create a fighting game with Mechanical Depth and Ease of Access, with the ability to make it "Trendy" right off the bat as the LEAGUE fighting game, it would truly have been a good game

I see this as being nothing more but another Rising Thunder and GBFV. They'll simplify the game too much for actual fighting game players but the 1v1 nature of matches and long term commitment that comes wit this genre will be too frustrating for normalfags to stick with it.
On the off chance it is actually good I might look into it simply because it will have a playerbase but I really doubt it will be successful long term.
Does LoL even have any iconic or notable characters people like? The only one I can think of is Jinx Maybe I should look more into the porn.
