It’s an extremely rare game that somehow gets survival horror right while having daytime. I love how it mixes genres too, since its a platformer, survival horror, fps, with rpg elements

Drop kicking zombies off roofs never gets old. If the second game ever comes out I hope they make the parkour a bit less clunky and either remove the grappling hook or make it so it actually has physics and not some sort of gravity defying magic.

They don't want anything to do with him. They threw him under the bus right away. If they use his work they need to pay and credit him. This was supposed to come out in spring 2020. The last development update is from January 20. A lot of fans are losing their hype and are forgetting this game exists because the developers have postponed this indefinitely and are using the silent treatment tactic.

it does get rather beige in old town when the people scrambling for survival at the tower get replaced by some sort of resistance that does nothing but it isn't particularly in your face

it's about them not liking it, techland doesn't have a particular social media presence to warrant the pursuit of woke points, techland does have an history getting stuck in endless cycles of re-dos like with dead island 2, the visionary ambitius goals of avellone's choiche driven open world story that has never actually worked in any game in history probably didn't help
