If you’re talking about the Battle rifle, you’re correct. I personally believe we should never spawn with the BR in 4v4. We should be encouraged to travel the map and look for better equipment.
Unfortunately competitive fags will cry if this isn’t the case. Halo should not only be about shooting precision weapons at each other, it creates stale him and monotonous gameplay.

are you sure? the whole point of halo was winning engagements so you could maintain control over weapon spawns which greatly enhance your teams ability. the game was never about who can aim better because of the fact it was built around console controllers, it was designed so players would win by controlling the map using grenades and coordinating with your team for map pickups

I’m not talking about power weapon control, I’m only saying that halo should not have precision starts. AR/Magnum start should be the standard, mid-tier weapons should come in to play as well
Depends on the game, In some instances I would agree in others not so much, also the effect of BR starts varies heavily on map.
On a map like epitaph or guardian having BR starts or AR stars is basically meaningless but on maps like Isolation or Heretic once you all die and the other team has BRs the game is basically over if you have AR starts.

I just want less emphasis on precision weapons and for players to be encouraged to pick up other weapons besides (obviously) power weapons.
I really hope Fortnite STW doesn't die.
I really think the devs should breath some life into it to draw in players that want an actual game instead of a quick BR to play.
Add in some way to get skins in STW and they'll'll take in the money with both game modes.
Maybe take some stuff from creative mode and actually allow players to make their own customized home bases.
