How sad are you, Zig Forums?

Very. Haven't played cyberpunk though

Why would I be sad? The game is simultaneously good enough that I can enjoy playing it with my PC and the launch is a big enough shit show that I can enjoy all of the horrible backlash at the same time. It's like The Best of Both Worlds. This really is the greatest game launch of all time.

This

this user knows what's good

Why do people keep doing this to themselves? Why hype up something so much that it can never fulfil your expectations? No game in existence could ever deliver on such insane hype. There has never been a game that impressive.

This, it's actually a pretty enjoyable mix.

what has to go wrong for a man to post something like that?

Just fapped to some gwen porn so I'm riding the high right now

I sometimes wonder if any of these posts are really not satire. Blows my mind thinking about it.

They live depressing lives.

even elon musk is making fun of that guy on twitter

this screenshot has to be some joke on cyberpunk fans
>thinking about a game for 8 years
>cried to sleep because btfo
>ps4
>future of gaming
nothing innovative came out of playstation and xbox consoles, the ones trying to innovate was nintendo with their successful motion capture shit(remember the playstation move or xbox kinect?) all that gets upgraded are the graphics, the games remain garbage.

>play day zero version for multiple days and get to laugh at all the horrible bugs
>laugh at all the memes
>play the slightly better patched version and just have some fun shooting things in the cool looking city.

>hehe if it was too good I wouldn't have liked it! It's awesome that it kind of sucks
Lmao

I was never really invested in Cyberpunk enough to care if it was good or bad.

I hoped that it would be good so that I had a good game to play, it's a shame that it's not as great as people were expecting it to be but whatever there are better games.

Mildly disappointed at worst, probably will get it when it goes on sale and it's been updated.

yes my life is in such disarray that i cry over videogame release by souless corporation.
what a fucking faggot.

when the oestrogen pills kick in.

I havent gotten a game day 1 in years and years. I highly recommend that you don't. I played Mass Effect Andromeda in like 2019 when it was all patched up and got it for 15 bucks, and I liked it. I didn't love it, certainly not as good as the original trilogy but it wasn't bad at all, but thats because I played a fixed up patched version, and I paid 15 bucks for it so it was worth the money. I wasn't blowing 60 bucks for a buggy mess.

Same with No Man's Sky. I played it this year with all the patches and added content and I fucking love it, its a great game.

Its all about expectations and disappointment. If you set high expectations for a game and end up paying 60 dollars for it day 1, then you're gonna be disappointed because these days with Crunch and pressure for hasty releases they're gonna be messes of a game, but wait a few years, buy a game for 10 - 20 bucks, a game you've heard isn't that good, so you set your expectations low, and you end up enjoying yourself way more.

I'm quite happy really. The magic of not buying into hype, it wins again.

kind of annoyed
i want to replay fallout new vegas but i don't want my steam friends to think i'm coping for having a low end rig

I didn't buy it, I pirated the day 0 version just to see how it was.

That's just stupid. That's on him for investing heavily and emotionally in a fucking video game.

This, played NMS over the summer since it was free on Xbox w/pass and it was awesome. I remember years ago all my high school buddies buying the game day one and simultaneously shitting themselves when it was a buggy mess, just like with so many other mega hyped games.

If you wait to play the buggy shitty games when they're patched and free (or cheap) it makes for a much more enjoyable experience than being out of $60 and disappointed

I've been feeling intense despair for about three months now. I don't care very much about video games any more

I don't give a fuck about Cyberpunk and I'm loving it

This was me on Diablo 3 release

Luckily I don't fall for hype bandwagons so I'm not even disappointed in how the game turned out.

With any hyped up AAA release that you're interested in, simply add another year onto the release date before you buy it. Its guaranteed that the target release date is from their publisher adding a fuck ton of pressure to the devs and demanding they reach that release target so they can get their money ASAP, causing the devs to panic and rush the game which leads to lack of content and crunch heavy which causes a lot of silly mistakes which lead to bugs since they don't have time to test it properly.

After the game is released and the publisher has their money, the pressure is lightened on the devs and now they can work at their own, stress free pace to make the game that they want and take the time to add some extra quality to it. Plus in a year its much cheaper after they greately knock the price because nobody's buying their failure of a game.

Throw in a year and a half - 2 years if you wanna get it even cheaper and all the DLC will be released at that point, usually packaged in a bundle. The only issue is dodging spoilers but they always calm down after the first week.

>this was supposed to be the future of gaming so i got it on PS4

A thread died for this.

>the real money auction house
>the servers downs so you can't play
>the awfull items
>the buy items or you can't beat this lvl shit
>oh wait, you actually bought something? Lets change how damage works and make your $200 item worthless

Man, it hurt a lot.
