Still better than Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Better than DE2make, but still not a good game.

i miss voth jill. i miss her so much

OG 3 is my favorite Resi and I was very disappointed it wasn't as close to original as RE2make.
Other than that, amazing graphics especially character faces, solid action gameplay, not gonna replay anytime soon 6/10.

Also I can't forgive they omitted the best area from OG, the cock tower.

>it wasn't as close to original as RE2make.
but it was. Are we going to pretend that demake2 totally cut off tons of areas and in-game content + replaced various bits with ""cinematic"" cringe?

I'm convinced that at least 40% of the intended game was cut. Going by the concept art, a few set pieces and the way they set up things in files, there was going to be a large segment in the parking garage, much larger city street sections, and a significant portion of the game inside the Clock Tower.

I replayed RE2make like 4 times and still sometimes go back to it. Even though I had fun with 3make, I never really got the urge to return to it after beating it once and don't think I ever will. It's decent, but it's a downgrade from both the previous remake and especially the OG RE3, and it makes me afraid of what they're gonna do to RE4 (my fav in the series)

I had the exact same feelings about RE2make, so you can imagine how much hope I have left for the IP any more.

What the fuck are you talking about? If anything, there's a lack of cutscenes for RE2make. The original was chock full of them.

Its a one time wham bam thank you mam kind of game

You guys are really missing out by not replaying RE3, I had a blast going back to immediately get an S rank, after that you can buy cool stuff from the shop and go for higher difficulties, hell the game even has a hidden arrange mode a la REDC on ps1. Only doing one play through of this game is a serious disservice.

Pretty engaging all the way through and I love the dodge mechanic. Also had great boss fights especially compared to 2

No, not cutscenes.
That god-awful "muh cinematic experience!" shit that has corrupted modern games for over a decade now, making them into set-piece driven rollercoasters with constantly changing rules yet very easy to predict progression.
I'll take well done FMV cutscenes and solid, unchanging gameplay you can actually master over ... what ever the hell this shit is, any day.

It really isn’t, there’s tons of incentives to replay it but the devs did a terrible job communicating that.

Its just a corridor isnt worth playing like the others

This so much this, otherwise the game was alright despite the cut content. Still better and more of an RE than 7.

It was for me, I liked the fact that it was so short and I could immediately go back and start speed running it, which I never do, after that you can buy stuff from the shop so you can play in cool/ unique ways in subsequent play throughs, including unlocking 2 more difficulties with remixed items AND a new enemy, if Resident Evil is supposed to be super hard core and all about the difficulty a la REmake, than you really didn’t play the game until you beat it on at least nightmare.

its no re2

Even though Remake2 was god awful shit how can you call Remake3 better? It took out the only things that made Remake2 ok and replaced it with nothing.

Remake2 was garbage Remake3 was a turd thrown up.

I like re3 but theres too many shitty bits for re runs glad you have been enjoying it though.

Still haven't played it, heard it was really short. I'm not gonna pay 80 leaf bucks for a 4 hour game. Been meaning to pick it up though as it's been on sale for 30 I think.

NuJill is so cute

I couldn't play it, it reminded me of Bioasshard and I got too horny whenever I played it

What i think is that they should have worked on it longer and not have bundled that "free" REsistance with it.
But having them work on it longer would be a gamble for the worse just by seeing the massive changes they did compared to the O RE3.

Goblina.
FAce scanning must die

both original re2 and re3 are longer and have so much content

the new ones cut like over 50% of content

for example in re2 there is an animal laboratory where u encounter various types of animals with mutations and interesting puzzles. the entire location is just cut from remake. also in re2 there is a huge opening city area where u have to go thru multiple buildings and streets, that entire area is cut off to make a single 10 second walk from car crash to PD.

both remakes were cash grabs that didnt even include as much content as original

if you want an HD remake of resident evil outbreak get zombie panic source free on steam

it's like re 7 online you can be monster team or human team

>Even though Remake2 was god awful shit how can you call Remake3 better?
I don't. It's so fucking easy to bait people into agreeing with your shitty opinion as long as you are contradicting with general consensus and you are prime example of it. Fucking Zig Forums is full of sheeps.

It’s alright but it could have been more. I hope they do a Director’s Cut version eventually. Or if they intend to stick with this version, sell at a lower price from the start in the future.

Still at least Village is guaranteed to be pretty good in comparison, considering they sacrificed this game for that one, and 7 itself was pretty damn good.

>Village pretty good
>kills ethan and mia off all the monsters are FF rejects
>FPS "RE"
>good

I want remake with no doors instant load between areas only change besides higher res everything officially done
