They are no longer guys

money
capitalism corrupts all

Investors

No AAA company is a good guy, the money changed them.

Don't worry Polebro, I'm sure Dying Light 2 will come out any day now.....

Shazam is Skull Knight. Guts is us the player

Dumb westerner.
They're a laughingstock in the local community, no self respecting person works there... to quote "learn, learn, or you'll end up at CD Projekt".

whats so bad about Zenimax? why not put nuBlizzard up there or something?

CDPR isn't anywhere near as bad as any of those other publishers.

CP2077's issues stem from a general mismanagement of the game's development, not a constant implementation of anti-consumer practices. They bit off more than they could chew for 2077 and are only just now being forced to admit it.

>so who is casca in this scenario
Casca is Cyberpunk 2077 itself.
It's very clear that the game was once brimming with content, immersion, life, and soul. It was something Guts was supposed to love more than anything. But due to it's rape (Multiple development reboots) it became simple and will now require constant care. The players (Guts in this scenario) will no doubt take on that role later with mods, but for now they go out alone, hunting down shills fueled only by their seething anger over the state of the game, wanting to make Griffith answer for their crimes even though it's a fruitless endeavor that will mean nothing once CDPR comes back later on in shiny new armor that tricks the majority of people into thinking they're back to their old selves and they start showering everyone with free DLC, including a big meaty Hearts of Stone size update.
But Guts will remember. Guts will always remember. Because even when Cascapunk 2077 gets better, she and Guts still won't be able to look at each other.
And all the while, Shazam Knight will be there to remind Guts of his endless struggles. To remind Guts that no matter what he does,
>The plot doesn't need to progress.

10/10 I hope you save this pasta

you're asking?

CDPR hasn't changed shit in the industry at large, at least with Valve it made sense.

Blizzard is part of Activision.

>Dying Light 2
user, i...

Not really. Truth is, human nature corrupts all. No system truly works in practice because human greed always ruins it. Capitalism ends up being a catalyst for exacerbated greed
>but muh socialism
It's not exempt from it either. No matter how pretty you make it look like, the people in charge will always power trip at the end of the day.
The only system that works would be one that doesn't involve a human

Any such system would have to be built by human hands and inherit all its flaws and biases. Engineers pretend that big data algorithms are completely impartial because they're technically incapable of emotion, but based on the input data biases can unintentionally be reinforced. So Facebook executives shot down a proposal for stricter algorithmic control over hateful messages posted on the platform, because they knew it would disproportionally target right-wingers. Twitter also had a similar project that was supposed to sift out users that were most likely to be a radical extremist, except they found that the algorithm heavily flagged Conservative politicians on the platform.

Please tell me the hidden tactic behind quadrupling your budget and making a worse game

>Please tell me the hidden tactic behind quadrupling your budget and making a worse game
Bad management and young hotshot teams blowing it on hiring new people or buying shit they don't need, because we got a fuckton of money anyways
You saw this in the early 90's with 'rockstar' programmers in the UK and US

Another example is Gainax basically succumbing after NGE's unexpected massive success, bleeding all that money on projects that ended up going nowhere because it's not like they were in a hurry with their seemingly infinite budget, and none of them had experience dealing with such a great amount of dosh

Probably because Right-Wingers are skinhead tier on social media and regularly push insane conspiracies in addition to encouraging violence.

governments had it figured out ages ago, inflate the bureaucracy and money and productivity start to evaporate into thin air
