You can get kinda close to Souls-esque combat with mods like Lock On and TK Dodge and Wildcat Combat, but it's nowhere near as good as actual Souls combat.
Skyrim DOES allow you to have coomer characters with big boobs and bunda though, so that's a plus

We can only hope the next Elder Scrolls will have an updated combat system. No need for something like BB given how shitty it would be in first person, the Mordhau route would be better.

I haven’t played Dragons Dogma yet having passed it up on sale multiple times since the visuals feel too dated for me but I’m curious if it’s combat and story more than offset how ugly it looks today.
I play on console so I get you can likely mod it on pc to get the best of both worlds but figured I’d ask for my specific situation. Is there any hope for a sequel after all this time?

Unfortunately not -- I've been modding for a long, long time. Get a Loverslab account, Sexlab, SL Anim Loader and go nuts.
I have, however, created a guide to making shortstacks, just like the ones you see in my pics.
You'll need to have a decent understanding of Mod Organizer though. It's really, really not hard at all, but if you're diving into Skyrim modding for the first time and trying to make shortstacks it'll be a lot harder.
