The main problem is that in order to support prosthetic limbs we'd need to replace our relatively fragile calcium bones with something more durable. Bone marrow is what produces our blood cells, so there's a realistic limit to how many bones you can replace before quality of life really begins to suffer. Unless we engineer artificial organs that produce red and white blood cells, which is significantly more complicated, I wouldn't go for the robo-limbs

They cant. Transhumanism at this point is 99.99% sci fi larp. Even the most advanced prosthetics maybe give you 20% as much utility as the real deal. Never mind that these are entirely limited to "simple" body parts like arms and legs, forget about even eyes, inner organs or improving your brain.

You are a product of your time. Transhumanism cannot be stopped. Our bodies are not perfect and people will allow all kinds of things once they become available. Just look at people who allow themselves to be implanted with sub-dermal RFID chips for 'convenience'. Or early adopters of google glass. Or Elon Musk's neuralink.

If you went back 50 years and told someone everyone would be walking around with bricks that can track them and listen everything they are doing, they would not believe you. With each generation, what is acceptable changes. Make no mistake, transhumnism is coming and it's here to stay.

Yeah, I mean all you have to do then is integrate it so perfectly into your nervous system it feels like the real thing. No biggie, just need to artifically recreate something simple and noncompley like nerves. Then make your body recognize it as an actual body part, avoid phantom pains, successfully suppress any rejection reaction and infalammation without making peopel immunosuppressed medication addicts forever,
Find a way how you can keep this totally not advanced and complicated machinery fully charged at all times unless your cyborg spends hours a day plugged in and half your body craps out when you cant get to an electrical outles in time.

Afaik the tranny argument has been that you start the game and cannot transition during it as well as not having non-binary pronoun options.
