>It's just Vergil from 4SE
Well that was disappointing
The B-team couldn't be bothered to add a single new weapon? Or at least give weapons besides Yamato a few air moves?
Vergil just feels so simple and limited.

BURY THE LIGHT DEEP WITHIN

Are Vergil secret separate unlocks? I ignored them but I just saw they have tab for him.

A angelo zweihander would have been nice yeah.

>He's still at it

Nelo will be his greatsword in 6
Urizen will be his gauntlets since neither Vergil nor Dante actually has Beowulf anymore

The mask looks so fuckin stupid

meh, only the top half of it. Vergil is definitely the type to wear an oni mask into combat tho.

>Nelo will be his greatsword in 6
>Implying there will be DMC6
>Implying even if there is going to be a DMC6, there will be Vergil
LOL.

There’s apparently already a mod to spawn two doppelgängers, could it be tweaked to spawn a Friendly AI Dante/Nero?

Reminder to ignore all shitposters and doomposters.

that didn't take long.

That's the sound of every hallway between fights in the Vergil campaign taking me 20 minutes to cross.

Yes, though they just award Gold Orbs if you already have blue orbs.

Is there a mod to turn his sword the right fucking way yet?

Fuck you on about? His sword is the right way.

wew lad

He means he wants to go back to his blade down posture.
He flips his blade to upward once it’s sheathed outside SDT where it’s blade down naturally due to his arm jets being Yamato

>triple perfect JC is now called a "jackpot"
I love it.

That's just pure autism.

Blade up is better. I can see Dante carrying a katana blade down but not Vergil. Everything about him, ESPECIALLY in this iteration with all his kata taunts, is very proper traditional swordsmanship technique. It feels right for him to be holding it the correct way instead of inverted.

How is that the right way though? When you draw the sword you'll be using the edge that isn't sharpened or am I missing something?

>Vergil just feels so simple and limited.
You're playing a 3d beat em up in 2020, and the worst in the series in terms of button mashing combat. And now you're complaining that it's too simple? That ship already sailed. You vergilfags and DMC5 fags are the highest level autists on this board. Worse than Kingdom Hearts fans.

Nice punching bag. This game really is for retards that don't play actual fighting games.

This is autism.
He’s actually correct in holding it upward due to not having armor and the proper stance for using the blade whne in robes. If he were in armor then blade down would make sense BUT, SDT and DT are technically armored and therefore it is correct when in SDT the blade is downward. Basically his devil side is samurai armor while his normal human appearance he’s properly holding the blade as if he were and unarmored samurai.

>and the worst in the series in terms of button mashing combat
How is DMC5 the most button mashy?

this is a good question, would Dante regrow limbs?

He was impaled by an army of demon bugs tho. That's disingenious.

Katanas are traditionally worn and drawn edge-up.

Vergil actually draws the Yamato sort of strangely; he tends to rotate the blade down before the draw, where traditional iaijutsu tends to draw cuts from the blade up. You can actually see this in some of his taunt katas; I think the reason for the draw is he tends to draw the sword into primarily horizontal or upward cuts, which usually involved turning the saya during the draw.

You change the blade's direction with the wrist of the arm that is holding the Kitana.

>virgin Deadweight who cries in pain vs chad Demon hunter who doesn't care

Taking the bait here but this The Void, a designated area to practice combos. You can set it so enemies don't do anything, just like in fighting games. Just like in fighting games, you'll have slim chances to pull something like this off in normal combat.

stop bumping this garbage for fucks sake you retards it almost died who the fuck asked you to post

Vergil is always holding the scabbard in his hand, however, so it's not like he couldn't draw yamato with the blade down

Interesting
