Other Mii costumes will be Tifa for Mii Brawler, Barret for Mii Gunner, Cloud Mii for Mii Sword Fighter and maybe some other misc FF characters like Terra, Kefka, Tidus, Dude from 8 with gun sword

Geno himself is a pretty well-written character in his game with a lot of cool abilities that could translate well to smash but he's just a side character from a random rpg. Geno has been in

>Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, he's referenced in a minigame but his cameo was taken out in the rerelease for 3ds
>Smash 4 he has a mii costume
>Smash Ultimate he has a 4 star spirit

I never understood this, isn't having your character in smash like ultra advertising? Like wouldn't you want your characters to be in the best selling fighting game of all time? People wil see the characters and be like "who dis" and then google them and find out their series. That's what I did in melee with Earthbound, FZero and Fire Emblem

That's pretty much it. Geno is seen as a symbol of the dawn of the Mario RPGs and complex storytelling in Mario in general since Geno working to fix Star Road kinda started off that more meaningful star lore that Paper Mario and Galaxy built on.

Sephiroth is coming with 2 Mii costumes and 2 songs. I don't understand why even bother with Square at this point? There are plenty of characters out there who would make fans happy and are made by companies that would be happy to work with Nintendo and provide tons of content for fans. Why keep crawling back to Square and groveling for scraps? If I were Sakurai, I would have re-negotiated for Cloud to come back just to save the "everyone is here" line, then as soon as I'd secured that, I would never speak to Square again. Fuck them and their stuck up ways.

Also, Geno doesn't deserve any representation anyway.

He represents the now dead Mario RPG's. It all started with his game and a lot of people, myself included, hold it close to their hearts.
It also helps that SMRPG is a really fun and comfy game, and the music is extremely catchy and deep when it needs to be.
