I watched the whole thing since I tend to stay on the train even after it gets old. It got too drama focused. Not entirely, it still had its moments here and there, but it shifted more towards the important events and the "why" of the world rather than just stupid shit happening in a random surreal world. Also, Ice King's voice definitely didn't change, I don't know what you're talking about.
