not being able to try your hardest is probably partially dictated by genetics but probably a lot is your life/attitude/pain tolerance

Isnt your personality a mixture of different habits, hobbies and interests you display? Doesnt lifting and exercise contribute to that "portfolio"?
E.g. I enjoy sailing, lifting, history, and cooking (as in learning new recipes and shit, not just cooking because I need to eat to live). Is this a bad personality because I put more emphasis/enthusiasm on the lifting?

Personality isnt built out of interests at all. It's how you act and react to things, your intentions, desires, etc
