Post ideas for new Zig Forums boards. Here are mine:
-SFW version of /soc/ with no selfies allowed. Basically a board for actually making friends rather than a hive of sex addicted normgroids who never go anywhere else on this website.
-SFW random board. Ideally, there would be manual bumps so flame wars and bait threads wouldn't be at the top of the catalog.
/trip/ an exclusive board for tripfags. They can't post anywhere else.
/v2k/, board for vidya in the PS2/Gamecube/Xbox era since /vr/ is fucking autistic.
/ar/, board for retro anime since new anime is shit.

Honestly I think the boards that currently exist are fine, they just need to be actually moderated. Remember that day a few months back when porn was banned from Zig Forums and the quality improved drastically? That's what moderation does. If every board did a better job of removing out of place/spammed generals, blatantly off-topic trash, obvious bait, and porn, the content quality would be far better. /sci/ and /his/ are pretty good about this stuff, and are some of the best fairly-active boards on the site.
Personally I think all generals should be banned because they're always r*ddit tier trash but it's probably too late for that at this point.

The ratio of men to women is bad enough on /soc/, on /lp/ (where the focus would be on autism, a disproportionately male mental disorder) the ratio of men to women would be something 20 to 1. It's an awful idea for a board. Also /autism/ would be treated as a joke and would be full of trolling and abusive behavior.
I'd like a board where everybody had to use a name or trip. It would be cool to be able to filter everybody.

you're rather optimistic if you think another board is going to be coming out any time soon on this website.
There is an aviation thread on /n/ however it gets really busy and in my opinion /n/ is more of a public transport and train board, from what I've seen /gag/ doesn't really fit well with the rest of the board
