Criminalizing rape is supporting the patriarchy. It's men who are against rape. Women want to be dominated and objectified by the "best" men, and by "best" they mean aesthetically pleasing, powerful, selfish men. Other men who can't compete in those realms have criminalized rape so these "best" men can't just go around preventing the reproduction of everyone else. Women would prefer that. Women would rather be one of twenty women in a harem to a low IQ drug dealer than the sole wife of a good-natured, intelligent man.
