why does the left hate anything that resembles soul and the human spirit?

Because their chosen ennemies like it. No other reason. It's just resentment.

he's right though just shut up you fucking nazis, the buildings got bigger ooh big race crime

NOOOOO YOU CANT BUILD BEAUTIFUL THINGS. THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT MUST BE SOULLESS AND DEPRESSING SO WE CAN SELL YOU MORE ANTIDEPRESSANTS AND FUNKOPOPS TO FILL THE HOLE IN YOUR SOUL. ROGER SCRUTON WAS LITERRALLY A FASCIT!!

Because they hate anything beautiful. It reminds them that they are ugly. If they can't be beautiful, they'll make everything as ugly as them.

Being serious now. Its endearing to see subs like old.reddit.com/r/ArchitecturalRevival/. Even a few posts on all recently have been slamming modernism for destroying past beauty. Its good to know Scruton was right when he said that beauty is an intrinsic human value. It would appear that the current ugliness of the world really is the doing of a few evil people, and that once people realise, they will certainly throw them out

Why do nazis get to have all of the cool stuff?

leftists are concerned with 1 thing. Equality. Everything that can be done must be done to achieve this. If that means destroying the human spirit so be it. In the mind of a leftist, somehow everyone having exactly 400g of bread is ideal. Never mind what must be done to achieve this, just make sure everyone has the same stuff.
And even this is usually not true as most leftists reject statistical parity and instead wish to see the destruction of civilization which they blame for creating inequality.

Europe would have a lot more beautiful and finely crafted old buildings if nazis didn't bomb them to the ground

Twitter threads are the worst thing on modern Zig Forums

The human spirit is filth, modern architecture represents it perfectly.

This shit literally encourages anti-Semitism by playing into the idea that Jews shut down all criticism of anything they do or make with faulty accusations of anti-Semitism. I was literally a self-hating Jew for a brief period of time because people like this faggot fucked my brain. He may just look like some random Twitter user, but the ADL prints this same shit.

Its capitalists fault that architecture is soulless

>leftists are concerned with 1 thing. Equality.

And it's easier to drag everyone down to the same level than it is to lift everyone up.

Nazis didnt bomb shit. Not in comparison to what the allies did. Also, the allies never needed to fight Germany. What exactly was Churchill's rationale for continuing the war? To save the Empire? Hitler never wanted to even touch the British Empire, he wanted to establish a German Empire and work with the Brits to counter the US and Soviets. Instead Churchill decided to fight on and defeat Hitler, only to immediately lose the election to Labour who then started dismantling the empire.

We live in the timeline where the bad guys won. The UK and France despite being on the winning side, were dismantled and made into puppet states of the US. too weak to even resist its cultural influence. The entire world has been under the control of the US post ww2.

Hey, can you tell your jew buddies up there to start building nicer buildings and stuff, it's getting really tiresome.

Very much so.
>Conservatism starts from a sentiment that all mature people can readily share: the sentiment that good things are easily destroyed, but not easily created.

by nazis, you mean... the Allies right?

>tfw it is so entertaining to watch the bad guys get upset that they lost the war
you woke, boy!

Skyscrapers are modernism kek, traditionalism died during the enlightenment

>leftists are concerned with 1 thing. Equality.

Read Marx, kid. He specifically goes against the measure of "equality," as he thinks it's impossible (and he's right). And look at some of the radical leftist parties' platforms, they are not calling for absolute equality. Literally no leftist wants everyone to have exactly 400g of bread, I have no idea where this strawman came from, but please look in the real world.

>instead wish to see the destruction of civilization

I'm not sure I would call it the destruction of "civilization," but any revolution (assuming these leftists are seeking socialism through revolution rather than through election) is going to destroy the preceding society and construct a new one. Destroy is perhaps too strong a word though, the economic mode of production is destroyed, but it's not like every facet of culture will be destroyed, that wouldn't make sense.

>which they blame for creating inequality

They don't blame "civilization," that's an extremely vague term. They blame capitalism, as, after all, it is the economic mode of production that allows one person to become a billionaire, own great amount of property, and employ others, while others can barely eat and have to work to get the CEO's next yacht.

Capitalism deterritorializes everything in its path bro for its own profit, I have no idea why if you support your culture (or nation or whatever) you'd support capitalism.

Pretty much every previous socialist state increased the living standards for the vast majority of people though. If you would rather be a peasant in feudal Russia, where a famine would hit every 5 years and you'd be lucky to live to be 40, never being able to go to school or pursue any sort of real goal, rather than the average worker in the USSR, who had free healthcare, education, a guaranteed job, and much more food in comparison to before. This isn't to say the USSR was perfect, but it was a hell of a lot better than what came before, same with most socialist states.

>It's fash slang for 'Jews'
I'm legitimately raping the next slightly left-leaning woman I see

How about I fuck both communism and capitalism off? Fuck commies are so dumb, the world doesnt boil down to communism V capitalism. Humans can exist outside of economics. How retarded do you actually have to be to base your entire ideology off of economics? As if humans exist only to serve economic goals.

The right strives for perfection because they know it's unattainable. The left glorifies imperfection because they love masturbation.

What is the alternative to capitalism and socialism? (I am including communism under socialism, as it's just a further development of socialism, to put it briefly, and here socialism means the abolition of private property, ie. workers owning the means of production, communism being that but also stateless, classless, and moneyless, to put it briefly).

I'm legititmatly interested in what you think the alternative economic mode of production is to either of these. Keeping around capitalism but "putting it on a leash" or whatever would just lead to what we have now in a few decades as markets seek to expand their profits.

There will always be an economy. We can't exist "outisde" of it lmao, you exist within the capitalist mode of production, as do I. We will likely die in at as well, as we see more and more of culture geared towards the creation of more and more profit. Think about how brands are seeping their ways into every facet of you life, user.

>read marx
it would be worthless information for todays world. the class dichotomy doesn't even make any sense. it's basically a poor mans mbti.

Please read some political books of either side sometime. I'd start with Marx and Schmitt

.How does it not make sense? Do people not own property anymore? Do people not own businesses? Do people not still work for a wage?

>Think about how brands are seeping their ways into every facet of you life, user
You're projecting. You are a consoomer with no regard for human life. It's nice that you blame capitalism but you sound like you're just a negative person overall. That sucks. Probably no kids yet, right? lol

more than half of the US owns property. almost all of it owns appreciating assets.

if the whole country is the bourgeoisie then the socialism argument is irrelevant.

they are the propaganda wing of judeo-capitalism. anything that cannot be packaged and sold must be destroyed.

What does this have to do with anything I said? Have you not been to a school lately? Fast food brands everywhere. Everything you buy is owned by like 10 brands. The news makes money off tragedy. The coltan in our phones and computers have been mined by children and slaves and have caused the deaths of up to 5 million people (with much more destruction as well) I'm blaming capitalism for the relentless drive to create profit and expand itself, which is inherently a doomed goal on a finite planet. I blame it for its absolute disregard for anything that doesn't work for the system (ie. create profit). This inherently changes the way people and society work, creating a society geared towards production and consumption for the creation of profit rather than human use, which I think is disgusting. If you can't create profits for the system somehow, you're useless. If you think that's a good thing, support capitalism.

I should've been more specific, property here refers to businesses and the like. Owning a house doesn't make you bourgeois. Owning a business and employing others, so that you don't have to work (it doesn't matter if you do or not), is what makes you bourgeois, in a nutshell. The bourgeoisie are the ones who own the means of production in society, you do not own Amazon, Google, Ford, or anything of that nature. I assume you work for a company for a wage, or perhaps you have some nice cozy governement job, either way it is highly unlikely you're bourgeois.
