I used to sort of be a nice guy in my early teens, so I know how they think.
The issue is that they confuse being very quiet and non-confrontational with being "nice", and then they get bitter when they see girls going with guys who in their eyes are annoying chads but most of the time, they're just normal social guys. Like no shit if you don't approach her, you're not gonna get with her.

There's also the fact that nice guys are hypocrites. They believe girls shouldn't be selective in who they start a relationship with yet they should. Don't get me wrong, there absolutely exists annoying, smug, whores. And many of them turn out to actually be the type of girl that a "nice guy" describes them as after its made clear they aren't hooking up (a dick chugging whore).
