He shouldnt.
Marriage is a scam nowdays
To risk getting raped emotionally and financially.
>Fear of being alone
>No real hobbies or personality, has to make everything about some woman and children
>Cultural pressure
We have to be careful about terms.
For example, the sort of dolt that posts the pic OP did is not a man; he should not marry.
I see no advantage in it, just drawbacks.
Any taxbreaks are eaten up by female spending habits, so you are at a netloss.
Go ahead and get raped in a divorce court like a man, champion
Are you nine?
1) divorce rates have been dropping since 1970
2) less than 6% of all divorces involve alimony and even then average alimony is $280/month for 20 months
3) Divorce is not a 50/50 split, you mong. Anything you owned before the marriage, any settlements or inheritance you get, and gifts from third parties, and a bunch of other stuff. And only a few states have a Community Property rule where you start with 'everything else is a 50/50'. MOST divorces are based on Equitable Distribution, so if you were married for 4 years to a stay at home wife who cheated on you?
She gets jack shit, you keep everything.
Why the fuck do you morons get life advice from robots?!
Keep coping, dumbass
The world isnt just america and europe tard
> anything you owned before the marriage.
I better beef up my manga collection.
I bet there's a big line of women desparate to marry you isn't there?
Nah, actually I bet there isn't.
I am - coping with reality, not fantasies.
>The world isnt just america and europe tard
true.
Only a few nations have no-fault divorce so divorce is a lot HARDER to get most places, fault must be placed, and division of property is based upon those decisions.
That is why most nations have MUCH lower divorce rates than the US or UK or Sweden.
Men marry to pass on their genetics, their values, and their beliefs.
OP can take solace in the fact that some of them will die alone as a result of this.
Not going to spend too much energy on this since you're a faggot
But if you can't hold up against an IRS audit, you also can't hold up to anything close to a divorce settlement. Good luck actually proving you owned anything before that point, hope you kept receipts and hope your judge doesn't just waive any of that shit since your ex-wife "clearly contributed to maintenance"
Divorce court is Hell on earth and it's the main moneymaker of the court systems since it is the main form of asset forfeiture (even above arrests)
They shouldn't. Relationships in themselves are a scam but marriage is even more so.
look at this retarded whore lol
actual wisdom right here. user you're replying to is a fucking child that hasn't lived a real day in his life. just an ignorant fucking buffoon that knows nothing.
>describes divorce as anything other than "woman wins man poor now"
>NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DONT BE REASONABLE AND NUANCED ON R9K THIS IS THE PLACE I HAVE TO HATE WOMEN NOOOOOOOOOOOO
Double income, pooled together for a better quality life. Splits household chores and work in half.
ok, any oldfags that have had to deal with divorce. I know there's a no fault and fault based divorce in the US. If you successfully prove to a court that its your wife's fault for infidelity. Does that meaningfully affect anything? Do men still get fucked over when they split the property and kids?
>retard gets btfo
>still act like he was right
shut up roastie, you're privileged and you know it
Where in reality 1 of 5 kids are from someone else, they are too busy working to fulfill steadily raising demands from wife and kids to gain any impact on their values that beat media-immersion, and after the divorce the only belief they manage to leave behind is "Everything was Daddy's fault!"
"Double income" benefit is made null by the fact that half if not most of that money is going to be spent as the bitch demands
Depends on the state and circuit
Also highly depends on the individual judge and thus the culture of the place you get divorced in (or at least the place your divorce is being presided over in)
Judicial abuse of power is as real as any other part of the government, being aware of who is where and that you, as a voter, have a part in who presides is important to remember, it's not meaningless
The best case of it I ever saw was where the husband found out she had been long-term cheating, saw she was weak and stupid, proved her infidelity with pictures and such (dude was a former private investigator) then he discussed it out of court with her and knew her family would actually ostracize her and cut her off if they found out so he used that to leverage a no contest divorce out of her and let her live her life. Basically "I have this, if you try anything your family will know and you'll be homeless after it all, we're doing a clean break and you get out of my life"
Luckily she was stupid and would have had to rely on her family for lawyer money if she tried to screw him, so it was just a lucky affair altogether, but innocent guys do get off clean if they use what they have to their advantage. And the court itself is the most disadvantageous place you can be so if you haven't won by the time you end up in the place, you fucked up.
So yeah to answer your question, no you can bet the court won't give a fuck about that if that's not the law of the land, but the people surrounding the case will.

LOL!
The top moneymaking fields of law are: Medical; IP; Tax; Employment and Labor; Real Estate; Bankruptcy; Litigation; Personal Injury, then Divorce, almost LAST.
And that makes lawyers money - the "Courts" don't get any of the divorce settlement, you mong
>it is the main form of asset forfeiture (even above arrests)
asset forfeiture
not even close.
You are a proud graduate of Zig Forums University, arcanine campus.
The most dangerous thing you can do on arcanine is tell the truth.
>Where in reality 1 of 5 kids are from someone else
A stupid lie. In reality less than 2% of all children have false paternity.
>eurekalert.org
as stupid as everything else you wrote.
>their values, and their beliefs.
Lmao what are you talking about
What kinds of weak-ass sissy doesn't have a stay at home wife?
Here is the only actual divorce I know of - my good friend's paretns'.
Them
>originally mormon, then evangelical, then mormon again. 7 kids. Stay at home mom
>He literally ran off with his secretary, sued for divorce from another state
>She contested over abandonment and failure to support
>They a greed to joint custody (he had them all summer) and that he would cover 60% of the mortgage for 2 years and he got 60% of any value from the home
>She kept her inheritance from her father, he kept his stocks and investments from before the marriage
>He paid child support for 9 months a year for 2 years, then a reduced amount every month until they turned 18
>After 18 months she was still working minimum wage and was failing school so he went back and got full custody. Sold the house, gave her 40% of the profits, they all live with him, she is a lactation consultant that sees them once a year for 2 weeks
Shorter: he left her for a 20 year younger woman and after 18 months was out very little
He fell for the meme that if you "educate" you children well you can control how they grow up, when anybody who's ever had anything to do with kids knows peers and the media play as big if not a bigger influence
>link to a derivative article on a paywalled paper
Nice stuff, if only we knew the sample size and the actual area of research or even the criteria this was applied by. Genetic tests for even a hundred people are a small fortune and that barely approaches anything of worth.
If it's so easy and fair, how come American men completely lose their shit when thinkting about divorce?
