how's everyone holding up
today I did everything on my list of habits for the first time
this is progress
/improovers/
I'm making a lot of progress, but the more progress I make, the more I want to go back to doing nothing.
I want to learn how to cook, what is good to cook?
what kind of progress are you making? mental? physical?
more mental than physical, but both.
Was gonna buy some more stocks but it wouldn't go through on the site.
op here, I have been cooking for myself for about 7 years, and it's a great hobby to pick up for yourself and your wellbeing in my opinion.
i consider cooking to be my happy place.
my advice for new cooks is to pick a cuisine that you enjoy and would like to get into, (like italian food for example). then, look up some recipes online (allrecipes is a great free site for beginners and experts alike) and pick out some recipes that sound interesting or exciting to you.
then, go get ingredients and make them, one by one and learn from your mistakes. almost nobody cooks their first meal alone and has it come out completely perfect, we all make mistakes, and we learn from them so our dishes taste better in the future.
when I was starting out to cook I remember that for me, making spaghetti on my own was kind of a nice feeling of accomplishment, even if I did just use store bought sauce. but it inspired me to try seasoning the sauces in some ways or other to experiment for taste. good luck user!
mental progress is great to hear, as is physical progress, proud of you friend
what kind of stocks?
based. i've been slacking lately, but not for long. i'm poised to finish my stuff for the day. today, i am practising drawing and writing
thanks man, I believe in you, drawing and writing are good activities
I'll start improving next year...this time for sure..
I decided to be a go getter and start before the new year, a practice or trial run you could say
Thanks, my parents taught me how to cook an omelette so that I could always eat before work. Now I make a mighty good omelette, I have always been a good learner and seeing my cooking improve makes me want to cook new things.
love to hear it, your experience with the omelette is kinda how it goes for a lot of dishes, the more times you make it the more you improve at it, and honestly I think that that skill transfers over to other dishes as well, because improving on one dish is still going to make you a better cook in general
If i try to improve it will be from zero
From 25 year old neet college drop out
I just don't know..
It is never too early/late to improove user
i think i'm too brainlate to learn react cooding. i get tired after 15 minutes.
we all gotta start somewhere my man
>what kind of stocks?
Wells Fargo, I buy blue chips for long term income and wealth. Done pretty well so far.
Depressed. I'll do better tomorrow I think.
Next year will be better....
Next year will be better....
Next year will be better....
you idiots seriously think you can turn a lifetime of failure around? it's all over, it's been over for a long time. give up.
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is today, user.
what are you going to do next year to make it be better?
the soil has become a dump nothing can grow on it anymore
I've been vacuuming the carpet when I'm feeling really depressed. It's a small thing, but it's surprisingly uplifting.
Your opinions mean nothing to me, NEET. Do not project yourself, return to reality. The fact is that you're struggling just as the rest of us are and projecting your sadness on the rest of us who are trying to improve our lives, unlike you user. There is no hope for you if you are saying things like this online.
Keep improoving, Anons. New Years is just around the corner, you can start anew in 2021.
hey man that's good to hear, sometimes doing the little things is what helps out quite a bit
The glass is not half empty, in fact there is more water than air
>picked a photo to post
>clicked on every single post
>typed out some stupid drivel
How much time did you spend making this post that you could've spent making your life better?
anons out here sounding like wise ancient chinese philosophers by shutting down neets and improoving
