It's a long one but I'll try and summarize. The diagnosis was high-functioning schizophrenia.
My doctors were at first in confusion, diagnosing me with many different things.
One of the symptoms of schizophrenia is you lose the ability to gauge if your mentally ill. I thought everything was fine. Eventually my parents started to catch on. They invited me over with a friend and had the police take me to the hospital. Fiasco's ensued, but I finally decided to take a leap of faith and cooperate. I was later diagnosed with schizophrenia and medicated. It was amazing. I had many realizations of my disease which only further proved my doctor correct. I'm in recovery now, and am looking forward to further sanity!
