Do they sell fridge magnets in the souvenir shop?

Many. Even ones with terrible puns and that have nothing to do with military history.

Where are the restrooms at?

is Apocalypse Now an accurate depiction of the Vietnam War?

Up the stairs and on the right. (Assuming they're working)

Not enough rice farmers.

What's one historical lie you wish wasn't in the mainstream consciousness?

>and that have nothing to do with military history.
How would you know? You are not a historian just another armchair historian obsessed with ww2 that watches youtube videos.

What kind of military history exhibits do you have there? I feel like WW2 is pretty overhyped but WW1 and interwar is really where all the cool shit happened.

That the M4 Sherman was a "shit" tank. It wasn't fantastic by any means for a tank. Mediocre armour at best. the 75mm M3 was sub par, good for infantry support but not ideal for tank on tank engagements. At least later in the war. Even the 76mm wasn't great.

But it was reliable, had good crew suitability and fantastic interchangeability which is ideal if you're needing spare parts. And with 50,000 built the numbers would usually makeup for It's cons. Similar to the T-34 in that sense but I'd honestly say the T-34 is better.

TLDR: The Sherman wasn't as bad as people made it out to be,

Cap from pic related: Are Feldmütze M40 or M41?

Believe this all you wish as it has no impact on me whatsoever but a fridge magnet with a name or a cringey "Love, Live, Laugh" certainly isn't military history.

Our WWI display is regarded as considerably good. We have a pretty good model of a WWI British and German trench including a fire trench, support trench and communication trench. It's small but it's one of the best models of a WWI trench system which has some audio/visual to add to the experience.

We also have a section on WWI tank men which focuses on 8 men who served in the Machine Gun Corp Heavy Section (tanks) and have a pretty good collection of WWI armoured fighting vehicles.

We also have some interesting Interwar vehicles including the world's only long, useless intererwar tank which happens to be the heaviest in out collection and which is considerably well known thanks to World of Tanks.

M41 as It was often used in the Desert Afrika Korp, the uniforms in the photos would also support this.

What's the difference between the M40 an the M41?

Love the TOG II*

>Feldmütze M40
The M40 was usually used by the SS by officers where as the M41 was used by offices in the Luftwaffe.

name every single vehicle you have, now.

I've been in them while we've done quite a few of our displays but never had the chance to drive them (yet).

Between this and the trench description it’s a big museum. Any hints as to which one?
