In NZ, we didn't really need masks because we all stayed home for 5 fucking weeks, got the disease out of the community, and now so far, all cases are caught at the border. We achieved something the great USA can't. We unified to lose our freedom for 5 weeks, to have it back again, covid free so far.

Herd immunity doesn't work if you don't become immune. This virus is getting wiped out by tcells in strong immune systems before antibodies can be created so you can get infected again. And its usually worse the second time.
