CBD is orally active, it does have anti-inflammatory action, it is an effective stress reliever, and it acts to modulate the endocannabinoid system which regulates homeostasis. It is more effective than placebo for the above things.

CBD isn’t the cure all companies make it out to be, but it is effective for some things thus disqualifying it as snake oil.

I didn't abuse it, I never took more than my Drs recommended dose. I still developed tolerance and withdrawal in a mater of weeks. It took months to taper off of. I'm "anti-benzo" because I've been on them several times and know the risks. CBD on the other hand produces similar relief without the addiction, withdrawal and risk of overdose.
