I'm about 30 hours in on PC and I enjoy it so far. There have been a few bugs. Some funny, some game breaking. It's worth the money, but you'll have a much better experience if you wait a few months for a lot of the bugs to be fixed.

One big issue too I think is there is no way to do a character reset of your attribute points. As you level up to 50, wherever you spend them. That's it.

Few games are worth the hype this game had. But yeah, it's good. I've been playing on PC since it released on two different life paths. You get different dialog choices for each one but they don't really affect how the missions play out beyond literally two that can lead to a romance option. But that's it. I was under the impression that dialog choices have farther reaching implications than they actually do. For example, you go into a mission guns blazing and kill a bunch of gang members, I thought that doing so would cause that gang to recognize and attack you whenever you see them afterward. It doesn't. Maybe it was planned but the state of NPC and hostile AI is really weak. Using stealth literally only gives you xp. There's no consequence for killing randos. You get a police warrant issued if you do but all you have to do is leave the area and it goes away. Then you can literally walk back to the scene and talk to the cops like nothing happened. Driving cars fucking sucks, and you have to do a lot of driving if you don't want to just fast travel everywhere. With as much focus as they have on acquiring cars it isn't very intuitive. The bugs aren't that big of a deal. Some are kind of funny, like T-posing naked on your motorcycle riding down the street, enemies clipping into the walls and floor, some are annoying and cause you to have to restart a mission or gig. With all of that being said, I like the game. A lot. It has a lot of potential once the bugs are patched. I think the bulk of the criticism came from the previous gen console side of things. While I can acknowledge that's fucked up, it's not been my experience. The graphics are amazing and I'm playing it on a 2560 x 1080 monitor. The open world is amazing. They have free DLC expansions planned. I'm only 5-6 days into it and I'm already looking forward to the future of the game. You have to be careful about hype and what other people think. You do you.
