Any anime suggestions?
Waiting for season 4 attack on titan to finish before I watch it. Also recently watched Black Lagoon which was really good.
Any anime suggestions?
If you're just skimming the cream, i suggest you google 「anime recommendations」, find a list including one or more things you like, and watch the rest as is convenient.
have you ever watvhed:"shinjuku maribu: the day I stopped watching anime and became a real man before it turned me into a tranny"
I think you'd like it
i don't think any anime has made me cringe more than black lagoon. not their fault smh, they thought it was cool to have braindead voicelines directly translated to Japanese, from the popular English movies at the time. actually cringy holyshit
bruh
then what would u suggest i watch then
Whatever your friends are watching.
I stopped watching Western TV shows because they were all reality bullshit or OMG DRAMA!! or stupid joke followed by canned laugh track or you think you're watching a show about how to make something but it's really about the guys arguing with each other and DRAMA!!. Try watching anything called a "documentary" produced in America. It's not educational at all compared to something from the BBC. And I'm not even going to defend anime as some higher art given the steaming mass of utter shit that Japan puts out every year BUT, there are a few gems to be had here or there depending on one's taste.
Gakkou Gurashi! is my recommendation.
Group of young girls try to survive the zombie apocalypse with their teacher in a school while trying to come to terms with the mental scars their position has brought on them. It switches from your typical, cutsie anime to real fucked up psychological horror very well.
lame
>gems
Yeah. The same 10-20 things on every anime list that you should watch before begging for suggestions here.
I'll check it out. I tried to watch an anime kinda similar called Higurashi but it was confusing as fuck so I didn't really get into it. This one sounds good tho thx bro
yo this is the guy who was bitching about black lagoon. there's tons of epic anime like deathnote, code Geass, shingeki no kyojin, Full metal alchemist/brotherhood, Ansatsu Kyoshitsu etc. start with these, you'll get a feel for insane anime
The problem I often run into when trying to make recommendations is that a lot of shows never get a proper ending. You have to read the manga to finish it which puts a lot of people off.
it's not that confusing if you watch in order, really worth watching tbh, it was amazing.
I don't know why more people don't read manga these days. It's not like you can't just read anything on your phone in a browser instantly.
A lot of Japanese publishing companies are starting to crack down or DMCA the free manga sites. Then again, membership to the official sites is often dirt cheap (like $5 a month) or you can wait for the volumes to be released and get 5-8 chapters for off Amazon for $17. It's certainly not as expensive as it used to be.
I've heard a lot of code geass but I've completely forgotten about it I've been meaning to watch that for awhile now thx for reminding me dog
i'll give it another shot I finished the first season and people say season 2 explains a lot
Here's my top whatever.
Look into these.
There is one, no they aren't, and lol paying.
Watching it and reading it are a completely different vibe. Some people just like anime more
thx bro
You read it either way unless you speak Japanese.
If you like AOT you should check out Claymore
But there's also music, motion, hearing the characters voices. Plenty of other things that people might like more than reading it
Not reading it? Just need a big-ass AMV playlist on youtube, then.
>no they aren't
"Because a takedown notice was sent to MangaDex from the owners of this series, One Punch Man is currently unavailable to be viewed. The series can be read in its entirety at the official Shonen Jump website, with the first and latest three chapters available at any time and the rest accessible with a Shonen Jump membership (which costs about $2 a month and can be accessed via a VPN if you are outside the US)."
and about five other series I was reading.
nvm
Obviously Evangelion isn't negotiable, but you've probably seen it already.
yooo i've watched the first episode like 10 times but haven't gotten past it. I need to just watch it already the artstyle is really nice and my friends say its good
