leaving aside the vitriolic language you employed (which, while not entirely unjust, is not conducive to real discourse), all four of the items are about increasing their power. That is the point. The point of focusing on "climate change" (hard to quantify and observe, always in the future) vs the very real and very present danger pollution in the water and food supply is causing to our health is because if they focus on the real problem they need to actually try and solve it, and can be held accountable for their lack of progress. Whereas climate change is by its nature highly unpredictable and since it is in the future it can mean whatever you want it to mean, so virtually any conceivable policy can be justified as taking action against climate change.

The reality is that we are taking actions which are poisoning the planet. Things like the die-off of coral and bees dying are really happening and could be really, really bad for the planet. As to what the exact cause is, it's harder to say,. My point is that the reason the left focuses on climate change vs pollution is because the solutions to pollution are relatively straightforward, if painful and costly, whereas I can make climate change about whatever the hell I want to make it about (look at the "climate justice" parts of the green new deal) since it isn't addressing itself to a problem that can be easily measured. similarly that's why they are obsessed with coronavirus but doing nothing to really combat the hundreds of millions slowly dying in the west through bad diets and exercise, etc. All of her priorities are the fake problem simulacra of real problems, and this is by design, since you can use a fake problem to pursue your goals far more flexibly than a real problem.

i'm not sure how you can make the assessment that one needs more faith in climate change than religion. clearly something is going wrong in the environment (which we are of course a part of). it could be any number of things but given the fact that we are polluting massively and started doing that rather recently, and a lot of these problems also seem relatively recent, it doesn't seem unreasonable to link them (leaving aside the science, which I'm not really qualified to dispute or accept).
