If this quarantine goes any further I might move into the NEET territory myself.
Right now I am on a biweekly schedule, might shift that to weekly soon. Monthly is just a stone's hop away. After that who cares about human interaction.
A taco bell kitchen mixed with wet cigarettes
Hey user you got some interesting stuff here. Any starting recs from these musicians?

Based.
>it's not worth it
What's not worth it? I leave the house once a week the way it is to buy tobacco, alcohol and food. I only care about my superficial self because of my anxiety anyway so maybe this is a good thing.
Also it's Artist - Album, Tribe is based though. Love Midnight Marauders.
Yeah I'm 4 years deep now. I can easily see how this could turn into 10 years. How'd you drag yourself out of it?

• Gojira – From Mars to Sirius (burnt myself out on the band bc of this and Magma lol but i'm trying to get back into it)
• Beach House – Depression Cherry (Zig Forums got me into this one; i love listening to it while high)

I kind of didn't. Still don't take care of myself how I should. But mainly my wife, she's a big support in life. Working as much as possible, staying out of the house. And I'm fairly introverted. Also my fear of failing. I never want to be on the street. My life is comfortable how I want it, and that is alright with me.

loved AJJ in my college days when I dreamed of fucking my LA teacher. I ended up writing my term paper for her about the Patriarchy because she seemed like the kind of bitch to be into that kind of shit. when I had my 1on1 meeting I saw her Prince poster and I downloaded the discog and found some good music. sadly she had no clue of the patriarchy and I never boned her. at least I discovered Prince. she was hot as fuck though, 2012 was a hell of a year for me.

Snowball > Smiths s/t and Orange Juice debut, everyone knows that
early 40's alcoholic with a good heart, kind to others

Draining Love Story- Sewerslvt
My Life In the Bush of Ghosts- Brian Eno & David Byrne
Innerspeaker- Tame Impala
Year of the Snitch- Death Grips
Speaking in Tongues- Talking Heads
Seems reasonable enough. I have been needing to get a job for a while now. It's funny, I started out pretty positive about fixing my shit this year and then suddenly I'm forced to continue being a shut-in. That one really stung but as soon as this is over I'm still gonna try and get back out there.
I took one look at AJJ when I was 14 and LAUGHED MY ASS OFF because that shit is for plebs.
Limp Bizkit is shit, but significant other is good

Slint - Spiderland
Storm & Stress - Self Titled
Orchestral Maneuvers In The Dark - Architecture & Morality
That is one of the biggest helps in life honestly. Sunlight, light social interaction (I deal with clients face to face 5 days a week.) Being stagnant only keeps you in that mental cycle friend. Also, Rome was not built in a day, and change doesnt happen overnight. Make small and reasonable goals to achieve, work diligently towards them. You will feel like you climbed Everest.
it was decent folk punk, if you like that style then it was a great band for a while. they really only had only 2 good albums though.
you LYAO means nothing, I was listening to songs about killing people while fucking prime pus in Philly, I will always look back to these moments fondly.
I still remember when I showed my boys TMS and they lost their mind.
wish I could go back but we only young once.

meant piper but I'm too far gone to post so goodnight yall
There's something about Depression Cherry that seems suitable for getting high, or at least trying to hit an altered state of consciousness. Used to listen to it while dozing off in the car during horribly hot summer and it now evokes that time and the feeling between unconsciousness and wakefulness.
I would probably kill myself if I listened to 3 Tool albums in a row
Thanks user. Unfortunately I just like the music and know nothing about music theory. Still interesting to learn about the inner workings of it tho

An old friend called me today on my birthday to tell me my high school ex died this morning. Overdose I guess. She was a fucking nightmare to be close to and try to mend but it still hit me pretty hard. I don't really know how to feel right now so I'm just listening to these death albums. I never really got closure from her. I don't know. Maybe this is closure.
I really like Electric Wizard's take on stoner metal / doom metal too. Good list user.
Bill evans was one of my favorite jazz pianists. I stole a lot of licks from him when I first transitioned from classical to jazz piano. Waltz for debby is one of my favorite albums from him.
I saw Ty on his manipulator tour back during my senior year of high school. It was a really fun show. I went with a really good friend that I don't really talk to anymore. He ended his set with some Fuzz stuff and then a Paranoid cover for his encore. It was probably the first garage rock concert I ever went to. It was a good show, good memory.
