Post what you're looking for in feedback. Be specific if possible. GIVE feedback to GET feedback.
Post WIP's on Clyp.it or Vocaroo. DO NOT link to Soundclouds, Bandcamp, or YouTube - there are dedicated threads for posting them and anything resembling self promotion will result in bad feedback.
I just got a new analog synthesizer and have been messing around with it. Working on a cover of Nightcall by Kavinsky. Definitely needs another layer of strings and maybe an arp during the chorus. What else?

So, I don't actually have any music to shill, but I built a new music production app from scratch. I'm a software developer and creating one looked like fun. It's touchscreen and aimed at people who want to create electronic music live, on stage, rather than play pre-produced tracks. It has a built-in customizable modular synth engine too.
It's in open beta, so check it out if you're bored. No installation necessary. Works fine with a mouse if you don't have a touchscreen PC. If anything, it's good for quickly setting up drum loops.
personally i find they are the perfect loudness. smooth transitions by the way, i like the volume automation in the intro...

How many gigs of RAM do you have? I'm getting a new computer and I'm thinking of going for 32GB just so I don't have to worry about bouncing Kontakt library tracks to audio and so I can multitask with Firefox, Photoshop, games like Minecraft etc. while I make music.
16gb and it's enough. 8gb is enough for what u want

I have 8GB on my current computer and it's not enough at all. 16GB sounds little as well.

>8gb >enough for anything

is Phase Plant worth getting? i usually like to use more esoteric/analogue stuff but i've been looking for something more modular to use instead of Serum. i've been playing with Bazille too which i like
Sebastian Jackson
32, but need to upgrade to 64 for kontakt. Mainly its the orchestral libraries that will use all 32
Never used it myself, but every serious person I saw using it swore by it, and quite a few as the best synth they ever had. The thing really seems like an absolute beast. I didn't get into it because no time to learn a new synth right now, but it's next on my list for sure.

What's the best way to mix music in my car without buying a laptop?
