The Great Debate

i cracked ableton a few years ago and used it briefly, but my laptop wasn't really cut out to use a DAW so that ended quickly. For a while I was literally just using MASCHINE and I made some cool stuff.

Now, I use Logic, and I'm just getting back into music. Enjoying learning logic a lot, but I lowkey wish I had ableton.

whatever works for you best

Logic - if you actually play in a band
Ableton - if you don't

Logic is an apple only product. Fuck that shit.

I can build a suped up pc and run ableton for way cheaper.

so is pro tools, the industry standard, out of the question?

>he doesn't hackintosh
loser

bitwig studio

the best daw is the one you know how to use

>The Great Debate
Not really a debate at all.
Use both.
Each is better at particular tasks, so I depends on what kind of tune you're making.
And whatever you're comfortable with is a great help because you'll have a faster flow.
Alternate as needed. There's plugins from each that I use because they're special
Like I said, just use both

fruity loops every time

my music sucks
the tinnitus in my right ear is getting worse
let me die

yes. irrelevant
lol. bitfag studio
undeniably based. It's crazy what you can make in FL. I was shocked (Macfag here) when I finally got to play with it how good the plugins are, and how flexible it is
why are reaperfags always so pompous? It's a good DAW, but I don't get it
just
>but I lowkey wish I had ableton.
nigga, you know what do. Get that Krrrrack

Why yes I do use Cubase(d) exclusively how could you tell?

just pirate it

>why are reaperfags always so pompous? It's a good DAW, but I don't get it
>biting the bait

how did you get it?
and don't tell me it was damage from 2loud music because i'll laugh at you for being stupid

>Mac
>FL
opinion discarded

Bitwig Studio is the best

been listening w headphones frequently since i was 13. been producing frequently since i was 17. i'm 20 now, and there's a bunch of loudass construction by my apartment
so now i'm trying to take a break from music, but i have no idea what to do. i'm probably bipolar 2, and i'm probably in a depressive state right now, which would explain it, but still
fuuuuuuuck this
my music blows
self-pity blows
no one is playing any good custom games on halo reach
life is hell

vapid and shallow. Nothing of value is lost. Disappear you piece of (poor) trash

Ableton is vastly superior

Pro tools is only for boomer engineers

I don't get why pro tools is the standard for engineers. Like if I ran a studio why couldn't I get the same mix done on fucking FL studio? It's all the same shit and all the plugins will work on it anyway.

garage band

pointless to learn. at one point it was necessary due to the digidesign interfaces being great. mow it is just used by people who learned it 20 years ago and don't want to learn anything new.that is the reason it is the industry sstandard, because the 50 year old plus engineers who owna dn work in studios use it.
you can just either send them your exported stems to mix or turn up with logic on your macbook or ableton on your windows laptop if you used to be poor and either hook up to their inputs and mix it from your machine.
logic is the better choice over protools in every way.
