This senile italian pedo spawned a whole new generation of music listeners by pushing them to go beyond their pop comfort zone (Beatles, Radiohead, Bowie) into discovering the world of avant-garde, jazz and classical music. Some of these kids will even become musicians and help push music forward thanks to having influences from all sort of underground musicians they wouldn't have found otherwise. In this age of streaming, TikTok, mass-produced pop muzak and rap, he might have just saved music all by himself.
How does this make you feel Zig Forums?

His website is completely unusable but the more I read from him the more I like him. I don't agree with most of his ratings but that's typical for any critic with me. Also calling "The Hamster Dance" "one of dance music's greatest songs" is extremely based
>His website is completely unusable
what? if anything it looks ugly, but i find it perfectly useable
Please get off Zig Forums for 5 minutes, it's affecting your worldview
It doesn't even have its own search function lmao it links to an inter-site Google search
he's an absolute genius and i admire him greatly
his entire "following" consists of about 50 people each on Zig Forums and reddit, and then a handful more trannies on rym. in 10 years 100% of these "people" will still be posting here or dead.
what have we learned from this? dilate, have sex, and kill yourself in that order. now
Scaruffi a cute
if you can get past how pretentious he comes off in some of his reviews, his rating system is actually really good. the thing i hate about most sites is that their ratings are super bloated, a decent album should be marked a 5/6 not a fucking 8. Whenever he gives an album that's a 7 or above you know it's pretty great.
Not him, and I like the retro look, but there are a lot of redundant links, links that go nowhere, and pages that are similar to each other, so you kind of have to guess which series of links you have to follow to get to a specific page you want if you don't visit that page often. He's very unorganized.
Based
He's an accomplished academic lecturer and AI developer
Don’t forget the time he also BTFO’d Fantano for having shallow taste. “Dark prog” lol.
Doubtful, the people who like Radiohead, The Beatles and Bowie probably never gave him a chance to begin with.
When was that?
That was Christgau, I doubt Scaruffi cares about Fantano at all
>It doesn't even have its own search function lmao it links to an inter-site Google search
boo fucking hoo
New Zig Forums hates leaving the Pop comfort zone.
This guy is a nobody outside Zig Forums
not as much a nobody as you though
>retro look
