What's next for her career?

What's next for her career?

Will her new album live up to her first?

Will she maintain her popularity in the upcoming years?

She'll probably last longer than someone like Avril Lavigne because social media makes it harder for people to forget about artists

That, and most of these new young artists are almost like social media influencers in their own right.

I could see her performing at the next Women's March.

She'll get the Oscar for "best song" and slowly disappear. Her fanbase is getting more neuron pathways and leaving her behind.

Are you sure? Her fans have stuck with her since 2017.

That's the preteen/adolescence interval. A handful of loyalists will remain, but it's all about BENEE now.

Benee doesn't have anything close to the amount of hype Billie had two years ago.

She will. It's all a question of milking one cow and preparing another one.

Benee is too stereotypical art hoe to have that kind of mainstream appeal

It's no longer 1973 grandpa

You mean as opposed to well-adjusted Billie Eilish?

I mean she won't fade that quickly. She'll just be like Selena Gomez or the fat one that did opiates, popular to a lot of people but not really dominating the music industry or genre. I mean hell even Taylor swift's last two albums haven't really done well compared to 1989 (the blank space one). She'll just become like any other popstar.

That's not what I mean. Neither has a "clean" image but Benee's is very indie whereas the way Billie looks and acts taps into the current zeitgeist.

She'll fade away in the post-corona world. Ppl will quickly become embarrassed to say they like(d) her.

At this point, it's inevitable she's going to have to re-invent herself.

I think it's entirely fair and accurate to compare her to Madonna. Madonna, like Billie, was considered a transgressive and provocative female artist back when she first came on the scene. As she started aging and it looked like her career would be over, she did the smart thing by always re-inventing herself every couple of years, namely through shocking people either with sex or religious imagery (breaking taboos, basically). Billie will end up doing the same since her little "teen girl recording everything in her brother's bedroom" has lost its novelty completely. Expect her to do exactly what Madonna did and start fucking around with burning crucifixes or flashing her tits in music videos.

Has Madonna really done well in the past 10-15 years? I mean I know she's obviously still releasing albums and doing tours but I can't think of a song I've heard from her recently that's hit the top 10

At this point, anything she puts out she's just doing for herself. She has enough money and notoriety behind her that she could retire at any moment.

Fake and gay.

>google article
>nothing shows up
Fake.

What will she reinvent herself to?

a diet

what's next is acting like a total whore now that's she's of age, like all teen girl idols.

she will inexorably follow the same pattern of all her predecessors to inculcate into the mass conscience of young white women that they should rebel, act like whores, girl power, etc.

If I had to guess, she'll go more extreme with the dark imagery. Probably combine it with sex and violence. So, I could imagine a new music video from her where she's lying naked inside a temple about to be sacrificed by goons slashing her with knives or something.

She's already an orthorexic.

Industry plants have a short shelf life, so expect her to be gone by the end of the year.

She’s about to run her course. Her whole reason for getting big was Apple needing a perfect candidate for which to use for the purpose of promoting music streaming. Now that she’s so big and the case has been made there’s no real point to promoting her anymore. She’ll probably be like Bieber where she sticks around for years but nobody really cares.
