to your collection?
they're very collectible.

post your discogs list, let me check

damn niga u short

hmmis this McKay's price stickers by any chance? I'm well aware there are a million generic looking price stickers like this but wondering if you're a North Carolina person. in any case I'm from Charlotte but I travel to look for CDs every now and then and go to McKays Winston and Greensboro.

I dont have anything cataloged on discogs, but I use it to buy stuff sometimes

this is the endgame of collecting. realizing you wasted years of your life and thousands of dollars on shit that nobody worth impressing is impressed by.
i sincerely wish you luck in turning your life around, collecting media is a habit like hoarding and it's a psychological problem.
xoxo

will you pre-order from AprilTwentySix.com?

You don't need a tripod to take a properly oriented photo you genuinely autistic tripfag

no, I'm impressed by it. I said "wtf am I doing" as kind of a figure of speech bc that's what peoples reactions would be but I love it so much. I love CDs more than anything, they're like air to me. I enjoy listening to music as much any other way. After work, I get home and bro I s2g some nights I just stand and look at my shelf. It starts by looking for what I'm in the mood to listen to but then I just end up standing there for like 30 minutes admiring everything. I'm happier than I've ever been. And proud of it all. I don't regret anything. I like telling people my ~600 CDs worth more than my car bc it freaks them out but I love it

incredible

That's true for everything except vinyl i'd say. Vinyl has become a real upper class hobby, sort of like collecting paintings. And i'm not talking about getting a fking Arctic monkeys 2013 record for like 20 bucks, i'm talking about collecting first presses, good condition records, raraties etc. Vinyl is kind of timeless, because the main reason people collect it isn't to listen to it, it's to collect it as a sort of portrait into the time frame it was released, it stands on it's own as a piece of art. CD's and dvd's just don't have that, and will likely not be worth anything in 30 years. I can see records being trendy for a long time

I used to go on Amazon and buy cheap albums, like $0.01 plus shipping, and I'd base my purchases purely around album art or band name. I think I have around 100 CDs in my basement somewhere.
