I bought used guitar and case it came with is gross so I'm going to reupholster it. Is there any specific type of lining material or foam I should avoid? The guitar is about 20 years old and may have a delicate finish vulnerable to off-gassing from new case materials. Not sure if any of that is a serious concern.
I once quit/took a break for the better part of seven years. Don't beat yourself up over it.
