Metal or any extreme genre of music is for ugly resented people who know that they will never be happy and get the best the world can offer because they will always be ugly and rejected by society. Indie/alternative/any hipster genre is for the average people and beta males that can get some pussy, live a steady life, but they know that they will never achieve greatness in anything because they're still average. Hip hop/R&B/Pop music is for people at the top of the dominance hierarchy, it's music for models, chads and succesful people that live a life without boundaries and anything is possible.
