Post what you're looking for in feedback. Be specific if possible. GIVE feedback to GET feedback. PLEASE ignore tripfags and attention seekers
Post WIP's on Clyp.it or Vocaroo. You may NOT link to Soundclouds, Bandcamp- there are dedicated threads for posting them and anything resembling self promotion will result in bad feedback.
The state of discussion about all music making and audio topics is terrible here on Zig Forums, and we definitely need a dedicated board. Here's the full argument for it: pastebin.com/ZHXhfRZw If you like the idea, let Zig Forums know at @ 4channel.org/feedback (under Board Suggestion)
Did a collab with some dude on soundcloud recently, produced a track to go under a demo of him singing, I thought it was just ok, but he really liked it.

I'm finally getting to the point where I've nailed my sound down and I'm getting a lot better at songwriting. It usually takes me a month to put out a track, this one took 4 days. We're all gonna make it bros.
>/positive/ I just finished working for the weekend and it's looking like I might actually have some free time in the week after next to finally get back to making music unless I get a new project piled on. Fingers crossed. >vocaroo.com/35bgkYdvglE You've definitely nailed a sound. Just be careful that you don't fall into the trap of having everything you make sound the same.

>damn dude you ever make something and just feel at peace and like maybe it's not all so bad? Yep. Just remember, we all have rubbish tracks and abandoned projects that never see the light of day. Just keep pushing and get all the good ones out. Also don't forget to jam and just have fun.

Never gonna make it

Yeah you can mate, just keep your head up and keep doing what you want to get better at, practice makes perfect :)

>You've definitely nailed a sound. Just be careful that you don't fall into the trap of having everything you make sound the same. Definitely trying not to. I treat it like I'm in a band. We all play the same instruments every song but they can sound slightly different each time. I'm really enjoying this sound and I want to put an album out using it.

clyp.it/nyneeg5e Really rough mix song about my favorite gay bar. I’m using Apple headphones to get the idea down
the creative sampling for the drums is really cool, pretty minimal stuff but the first one feels even more minimal than the second, I'm not sure if that's the direction you wanted but I feel like a melody could potentially be brought in to spice it up a bit.
I'm if you want to give it a listen.
Luis Evans
first one's really interesting but i feel it has too much going on that's hard panned. it miiiiiight just make it hard for the rapper. but other than that, the drums were really groovy and the synth was pretty good, too.
same with the second one. i think you should play with the fader if you don't want to entirely remove them.
if these are instrumentals on their own, they're pretty good!
get a sequencer, grab the midi and fuck around with it. i started that way yesterday and finished a simple beat. it was nothing great but i did something, you know?
Tyler Scott
Why the fuck can I only make something when I don't want to actually make music? Why the hell am I like this? Also, how's this sounding? vocaroo.com/fb09EBo535V
