He killed infinite amounts of people just so he could go home

He killed infinite amounts of people just so he could go home.
Jesus, how can any think he’s a good guy?
If he was going to go back home he should have just jumped into one of the many time portals when he had the chance too.

He erased the existence of countless suffering people so countless more could live full, happy lives.

The Guardian episode confirmed the existence of the multiverse, hence the "past" Jack returned to is but a diverging timeline he inhabits while all his friends face justice for their transgressions against their benevolent dictator, Aku. Happy ending for everybody.

The ending was stupid.

I'm sure they wanted it.

You can't kill someone who doesn't exist.

He never killed a human before the last season of the series. Sure plenty of robots and aliens but never a human being

It's made clear that some of the robots are people too.

>A grateful universe.

that not why i hate it, but i still hate it

Cartoon logic doesn't necessarily mean that the people born to Aku's future will never be born in the good future. That's just real-world logic. Since it's never addressed and never even a concern of the people of the future, we just can't assume real world logic applies.

But if you mean the people Aku hired so he could rule the future uncontested, well... fuck 'em

He killed trillions to save quadrillions.

It's specified that they are not.

Star Vs

What the fuck do you think "undoing the future that is Aku" meant?

Didnt he chose to not use a time portal earlier just to save some people instead?

I got SO FUCKING MAD because one of the episodes LITERALLY ended with this. The spessmen are about to go home through a portal and drop him off in his time, but because they are not 100% sure to make it, Jack gets out and makes sure they do, sacrificing travelling back for it. Then in the "grand finale" they just suddenly drop out and leave the army of his supporters to die and then unmake EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM anyway. So what the fuck was the point?

Aw, the old Dungeons & Dragons cop-out??

That was bullshit they made up for drama. Jack have clearly killed the group of assassins before and is obvious that during his decades of wandering the ancient earth and the future at some point he must have killed someone. Yeah sure, they made it a dramatic thing to angst about to serve as the first arc of the reboot for the first three episodes. It was stupid but the execution was okay and what came after was much, much worse.

He never made that decision--he constantly delayed going home for the sake of others, and then refused to kill Ashi. In the end, it was everyone he helped coming to return the favor even if it meant rushing to their dooms, and Ashi sending him to the past.

It was always a moral dilemma for him, and in the end all the people grateful to him took the decision out of his hands. Could have been executed better, sure, but saying he's a murderer is a stretch.

Robots are machines, user.

Wrong. If it was an Alternate timeline Ashi wouldn't have disappeared

If it was a linear timeline Ashi would have disappeared the instant Jack killed past Aku.

No, Ashi did that without asking for his consent.

Who says it has to be instant user? That doesn't validate your alternate timeliness theory

humans are machines of meat and chemicals

Because the instant Jack kills her is the instant she never existed to begin with assuming a linear timeline. Her delayed death doesn't validate your linear timeline theory.

Who cares? The REAL show "ended" at Season 4 with Jack and Aku still forever locked in their stalemate. There was never meant to be a true ending.

Not Necessarily for all we most of those people were still born but in different time periods.

It makes more sense than your retarded alternative timeline. How did she die then user?

>muh Zig Forumsmblr boogeyman
You're pathetic.
