literally every single "animated" page in hs2 so far has been 2 frames. when they said they weren't planning any interactive pages I was very doubtful that it would ever come close to recapturing the zest of the original. something as simple as that pogo game and a walk around flash gave homestuck so much charm and character. what would homestuck be if there was no act 4 flash and you didn't hear george buzinkai's "doctor" in the background? the leitmotif's and music of homestuck was part of the comic damn it. just a solitary hs2 album with no incorporation into the comic doesn't cut the mustard

I want you to know something user, and I dont care who hears it. I die a little bit inside everytime I go back and think about 10 fucking years ago when I first discovered homestuck! The act 4 flash was my first introduction to the comic. I had no idea what HS was and I thought the whole comic was a game at the point! What a magical time to be alive it was back then, and I'll always treasure those moments I had about honestuck.

Fuck the fandom and what it's become! Fuck tumblr! And yet, I can't ever truly leave this place.

also, that may have been a typo, but "honestuck" is kind of a neat way of putting it. it felt more "honest" or sincere, even if the comic lampooned 2000's culture a bit

We were murdered in these halls, and we haunt them indefinitely because we cannot move on without closure regarding our deaths. At no point is the Homestuck we loved given a conclusion. The characters we followed decayed into hollow caricatures of who they once were, so the ones dear to us do not have endings. We're trapped here until Hussie decides to redo Act 6, and that obviously isn't going to happen.
