I was deep frying onions recently and my brother in his infinite wisdom knocked the hot oil all over my thigh and leg. I'm getting a skin graft from a donor tomorrow and I need to take my mind off of it.
So, what would it be life if Hank had BIll's ex wife and Bill had Peggy for a wife?
I first read that last line as "if Hank was Bill's ex wife"
I think that could be a scenario worth exploring
Angel Flores
It all depends on how it actually happened. Bill 's life is implied to have been ruined by their toxic marriage and he could handle the rejection. If Hank maintained his composure they'd probably get divorced still but atleast have his wits about him and wouldn't become a Bill. Bill meanwhile might never become the broken man he is today because despite Peggy's flaws she's a loyal woman who'd have Bill's back.

Well OP, first poster is most likely correct However, for the purposes of argument, i'm gonna assume this is all hypothetical and not strictly confined to KOTH canon. I truly believe that Leanne would benefit from having a sturdy, dependable husband like Hank. If he kept beer out of the house, and only drank outside out of line of sight with the guys in the alley, maybe just maybe Leanne would stay sober and realize that she probably cant do much better than hank.
If this was a real episode, there could be some conflict where hank neglects to brush and listerine his teeth before bed and Leanne kisses him, tasting beer, and goes off the wagon.
Bill and Peggy is a crapshoot. I genuinely cant see her putting up with current state Bill for longer than a week. Perhaps if she met bill when he was fresh into the army then they could make it work.
bill seems pretty bi to me he likes his women masculine, and im pretty sure he had a couple a moments where he thought about getting with guys as well
i think he just needs someone strong and masculine and assertive

>Bill 's life is implied to have been ruined by their toxic marriage bills life is implied to have been ruined since he was born he def has issues, and a rough childhood as well those kinda people tend to fall into bad relationships and marriages

It's actually very possible they could have had each other's wives (ex) They both met them at the height of their football popularity. Lenore only got with Bill because she stole him from another woman and Peggy was some type of band geek or flag girl (I forget which) So I think Bill and Hank were chosen as more status symbols, so I could easily see Peggy and Lenore hooking up with them during highschool.

You’re mixing Leanne and Lenore, my guy
Nathaniel Ross
Awww fuck, you're right. In my defense, we only see Lenore in person, what, once? Just the anne richards mooning episode
onto the topic at hand. both bill and peggy become even more insufferable as each reinforces the others' worst tendencies. they both become even more smug and authoritarian. they essentially become karens. bill attempts to attain a higher position in the military. peggy stays much the same, maybe interacting more with military wives / military wife orgs.
if bill's father is still around, he is sure to cause arguments between bill and peggy, which is a difference between bill and hank.
despite his weak appearance, bill is actually an incredibly headstrong person. in the existing canon he makes few choices because he thinks every choice he makes is wrong, but if he does make a choice then he believes that choice to be absolutely correct until he is completely humiliated and all his opportunities are dashed.
as for why old man d'hauterive may be around, bill may attempt to use his father's influence to help him rise in the military. of course, this backfires because his father is also very headstrong and hates weakness (what kind of a guy will make his son wear a dress when he fails at some small task?). his father will see this as an opportunity to test bill's resolve and worthiness, thus actually making the task of climbing the ranks even more difficult. bill whines to the men on his block.
peggy needs to believe she is married to a strong man. if bill becomes emasculated by his father, she will lose affection for him and may even become a nag like lenore.
if bobby is bill's son, then without the guiding example of hank, he becomes a self entitled douche. i'm inclined to think old man d'hauterive will be ok with that so long as bobby is still winning where it counts.

as for hank...
hank attempts counselling with lenore for a year and if they don't have bobby then hank will attempt to divorce lenore.
i imagine the attempt to get her to sign divorce papers will be quite funny. i imagine her resisting purely as an ego play.
if they do have bobby, hank becomes one of those guys who tries to spend as little time at home as possible. he may become addicted to something, like gambling. he is ashamed of being trapped in this position, but tries to be a good example to bobby when at home. hank and lenore frequently get into shouting matches. bobby escapes the situation by hanging out with joseph.
i'm not very imaginative. the truth is, we don't know why bill and lenore split up. was bill failing in his military career before or after the marital troubles? likewise with his physique. if it's money troubles, lenore is going to be as annoyed with hank as she was with bill. actually that could be interesting... hank is too loyal to strickland to leave him. but what if lenore tries to make moves on buck? would hank get promoted as a buy off from bucks' conscience (and so he isn't around where buck is) or would the adulterers be discovered, with hank walking away from both buck and lenore? hank would probably end up at the megalomart until he comes up with some better idea. as for what, i have no idea. ultimately the best idea would probably be becoming an independent gas man, since that's an industry he understands, but with a looming divorce, and with an antagonist and local competitor in buck... eh. most likely hank would try something else first. he doesn't have a head for business, is the issue. he would have to compete on service and quality, as these are things he respects. I can see hank failing again and again and offering life lessons to bobby as he picks himself up from each failure. he needs to find some industry where his trustworthy nature and attention to detail matter.
Owen Roberts
one of those industries may be customizing guns for nuts like dale. maybe he gets lucky and secures a small contract with the local pd thanks to boomhauer. OR boomhauer steers hank away from this because he will essentially be making the guns easier to handle, plus questionable attachments like a silencer...
Michael Hill
Sorry about the skin, cooking onions should always be a wholesome experience. I hope you pick that fryer up one day again, friend
Christian Reyes
oh my god what if hank ends up as an it guy with khan? i can totally see him becoming a white collar rat, with the corporate politics nonsense eating away at his soul. also, i don't imagine cotton will think highly of hank pushing papers and cleaning up after others' mistakes. the lessons hank will push to bobby will be warped by his experience at a bottom level rat in the corporate world.

the two people in my favorite KOTH Crack Ship are in this screencap, can you guess who?
you each had half of the puzzle, but not quite the half you were probably thinking
it's Tammy and Junichiro

>bills life is implied to have been ruined since he was born Bill was a little book dumb, but his life was good until he met Lenore. Lenore broke Bill, but he's shown multiple times that he's able to revert back to the chad he was in high school with even the slightest motivation.
>Anyone else used to hate KOTH as a kid but grew to love it as an adult? nah I loved it from pretty much the beginning, though my full appreciation of it didn't occur till Adult Swim started showing it and I was better able to appreciate it's merits
