Wow. Ok, look. Sometimes a piece of art means something different to whoever is looking at it. What you may find attractive, others may find offensive. You are probably just in the demographics that the old style of drawing women panders to. The fact that we are getting more representation is a great thing for all art. It means new ideas are going to enter the field and diverse perspectives can unite into a common vision for whatever art they are producing. Their is a lot more art depicting women as sex objects then there is of them being interesting, rich, complex characters. There still will be for a long time, you aren't being oppressed. Other people are just also starting to get the things they want in the art form too. Try it out, and you might find you enjoy the new stuff even more than the old.

From my experience, what usually happens is that everything gets dumbed down to the point where everything becomes vanilla. I don't know where you're getting the idea that everything gets better when everything gets toned down to appeal to the lowest common denominator, but it's usually the opposite.
