I'd say the Chuunin exams were peak desu, user is right , Zabuza Arc had some good moments but if you actually go back and watch it, it's mostly a drag.

I think it's good up to Gaara. Sasuke retrieval and sound 4 arc were a fucking slog. Sasuke vs Naruto was good. Then the series should have ended. The moral of elite bloodlines dominating the peasantry at the end of the series is disappointing.

Came here to post this, read the whole thing last year and the quality steadily declined from Zabuza onward.
That said, I think people are more nostalgic for what they REMEMBER Naruto being/Naruto culture being.
