Steel yourselves, lads, before you gaze into this abyss.
Zombie Simpsons Cringe
The idea is cringe as fuck but the execution, the way everything matches with the song and stuff, is not that bad. If they had somehow pulled this off on Classic Simpsons with a song that wasnt garbage it could have been great.
I remember being a kid when this first came out, and I fucking loved it.
Classic Simpsons would never do something like this. Simply recreating a song or movie (as opposed to parodying it) is a hallmark of Zombie Simpsons.
Since you were a child, you're excused from needing to kill yourself.
Lisa’s cute in glasses
They are kind of parodying with this tho. It's a horrible, just terrible idea but if it was the city joining to sing a song like in the "que sera sera" scene of the meteor episode but their actions matched the lyrics i could be cool.
If thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee.
How did this get approved?
When you run out of ideas you have to go with anything that comes up.
>NEW SIMPSONS BAD
Fuck off retards, it's perfectly fine.
lisa looks cute
This is horrifying
why this give me shadman vibes
Ace Ventura?
I remember this episode. She’s cute ngl
Now pic related is the Lisa we need more of
Don't even go there
How does this awful shit make it to the production stage? Are there seriously no better ideas?
PLEASE tell me this is a Treehouse of Horror episode.
Not matter how much i want it to be, no, is from a regular episode
There was one zombie episode I remember seeing years ago, that had a parody of the scene in ET where he hides among stuffed animals. In the episode, one of the stuffed toys was an ET toy, as if they were worried that no one was going to get the reference. That sums up most failed attempts at parody that show like this have.
Although the same episode had Burns trying to seal the town under a giant dome, with everyone pointing out how that's been done already, and they could just dig under it to escape, which I admit got a chuckle out of me.
This episode is from Season 14 or something it's 18 years old. Hardly "new" at this point.
This was a mandate from Fox, by the way. All their shows had to have a music number as part of 'Fox Rocks Week'.
Not that anyone here, with their stubborn mindsets, would care.
Hey Sneed, it's a Simpsons thread.
I actually kind of like it. You get a nice tour of springfield, some POV stuff of new angles of the town,
and a whole bunch of characters we haven't seen in a while. It reminds me of a less shitty Virtual Springfield. Yeah the song isn't great, but it's harmless pop trash. It doesn't have the soul of old Simpsons during the Bartman era but I was expecting it to be way worse given this drama bait of an OP.
This is so surreal that it comes back around to being funny to me. I think it helps to look at it like a Treehouse of Horror episode, even if it's not.
