Never saw the movie, huh?

Nope, but my big bro actually worked on that finale.

Nice LARP, dork.

>Los Angeles jawbreakers
either it tastes like underaged kids or homeless people

he felt like he had to aspire towards his big brothers status as the big bad because he believed he was an outsider.

>Get beaten senseless by your big bro every day
>Idolize him anyway and somehow get it in your head that this is how you act to impress people
>Act like an asshole for attention while also trying to pull hustles because big bro probably did it
>Grow the reputation of an asshole and most of the kids don't like you but you're so neck deep into the facade that you continue to go deeper
>Doesn't matter how many vicious beatings you get from the other kids anymore, you've already decided your own fate and you're sticking by it at least until the movie where your big bro humiliates you in front of everyone resulting in your breaking down crying

Years of his brother's abuse warped him so badly that he genuinely believed that the best way to make friends is to act like an asshole.
Also the constant failures, social rejection, beatings and sexual harassment definitely fucked with his self-esteem.

His parents were Republican.

Looking back on it, Eddy probably had the most fucked up childhood aside from maybe Rolf or Jonny.

Dude, Ed gets his stairs taken away

What does the Reno jawbreaker taste like? What do they ALL taste like?

Sounds legit from what I know about victims of heavy abuse.

That's disturbing...

>Rolf
>fucked up childhood

Ed has access to the entire basement, which might as well be an apartment. He has a large bedroom, an entire bathroom to himself, and a washer and dryer. Besides, he could easily leave through the window. Obviously, his home life is shitty too but it’s not as bad as those three.

Rolf's childhood wasn't fucked up, he just had to do a lot of chores.
Then again, there was that guy in the wolf suit who kept stealing his livestock...

The Reno one definitely tastes of cigarettes and desperation.

God I love that shithole town so much

Rolf has a lot of responsibility but he's been shown to enjoy it and still has free time. I've never seen anything that would imply Jonny has a bad home life, his parents were hippies iirc, so Plank could be a side effect of that.

>Then again, there was that guy in the wolf suit who kept stealing his livestock

I’m mostly referring to this, the fact that he lost his grandpa in a storm while trying to immigrate to America, and the fact that “That’s My Horse” is considered a good time for him.

Aside from his parents turning their house into the Arctic on Christmas they don’t seem too bad. I can only imagine the circumstances behind what caused Jonny to develop such a disturbing attachment to Plank however.

Ed is tied with Eddy as having the most legit comfiest rooms in the show. Eddy's problem is that he cannot appreciate a simple life. He woke up everyday trying to figure out how to make money.

I'm really glad the finale turned out that way. That's an interesting left turn for a series that up to that point didn't really have anything in the way of pathos.

Eds basement is dank and gross

It’s extra comfy when you realize he’s the only kid with a tv in his room. Probably watched all his cult films on it. For some reason there’s a special magic to old tv’s not connected to cable used solely for watching vhs tapes.

I don't know about that, Rolf is from another country and Jonny's just a bit out there because he's best friends with Plank.

He hated gay people.

he needed the D
bad

Because Ed made it that way.

Comfy? Maybe for Ed, but if you were to walk into his room with in that state you'd be disgusted.
>Stains, mysterious liquids, and dirty underwear all over the floor
>Run down couch and a closet filled with miscellaneous things that don't belong in a child's closet
>Bed spring mattress that has the equivalent of a polluted beach under it, seagulls and all
>Dirty bathroom with a bathtub filled with putrid Gravy
>Smell is probably horrendous

Eddy's would be my pick for comfy. Double D's comes close though.

How is it so comfy?
This and the CN City were the pinnacle of chill

Shitty parents, abusive older brother, social outcast.

The series spelled it out pretty well.

>Oh my, a shriek of terror
>DAD'S HOME
